Too long. I’m glad gaschat exists though. As Henners mentioned it’s a good place for a good bit of light hearted banter. It’s funny how you build up a persona of people without actually meeting them. Is Bags really a lazy lord of the manor ordering underpaid staff about? Is Jock really Scottish? Could be some bloke in Staple Hill for all I know!

Been on here since 2015. Read the OF for a few years but didn’t post.
I’m glad Gaschat exists too, it’s a fun forum to read and interact with which is a credit to the community of posters who make it that way.

Started on 606 in about 06/07 with the likes of Captain Jack Sparrow; then that ended soon after so over to the old official forum. When that closed the old AF and then quickly here with a bit of two timing for a while. Pretty much the same as me then |

Yes he banned it because he did not want the truth told about what a number of players were getting up to in our relegation season to non league. Joey's chewing baccy was like kiddies sweeties compared to what went on then. |

One had live chat during games, which was a real hoot because there was no time to get your comment out there before it was outdated and lost in a flurry of new comments. Great fun though. |

I think it was probably because the culture of constantly using mobile devices hadn't quite taken hold.... |
