Yep double jabbed but no NHS app to prove it. Do they just take your word for it or do I need to get the app. I struggled getting set up on that when I last tried. Do you have your NHS number from any medical correspondence? If you have that it makes registering with the App a lot easier. Have a look at the FAQ’s as well, not 100% sure but thought I read the vaccination card you had stamped when you got your jabs was acceptable. (I might be wrong on that so do double check) It was loading up ID photo of passport/ driving licence that beat me on the app and all the codes sent that beat me. Said the image was unacceptable and so decided to give it a break before trying again. Guess a lot of the older fans might struggle like me. Unfortunately the vaccination centre did not stamp my card for second jab so guess football will have to go on without me for the next few months. But thanks for advice Eric.

It is going to isolate many fans that are either not comfortable with technology, or do not have phones, etc.
I don’t like the thought of people not going to football because of technology…

I posted this here before. You don't need to download the NHS app. You can do it from the website using your NHS login or by creating one. You don't need to send photos, so far as I know. covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/

Of Passport/Driving Licence? Didn't have to do any of that when I sorted my app out.

They could have printed the damn thing while I was stood in front of them.

Same when I set my Father's up the other day.

For a pass for events in the UK you just have to create a NHS log in and you can then download and print the 2d digital pass.

The technology developed now to monitor and control it is necessary, but will undoubtable be used for other purposes in the future.

According to the club the local sage group decide on the regulations. We have to with a crowd of 3k but city dont with 20k. Exactly, bizarre that @ity are saying the following for entry to Trashton: We will not require supporters to show evidence of a negative test or any form of vaccine passport How does this make any sense? Will cost us a fortune in lost attendances. It's not completely bizarre, it's about 'corporate responsibility' as the government mention occasionally. Basically if there's an outbreak in a place you manage then you are liable, if you take precautions I assume you're less liable. Much like if there's a food poisoning outbreak at a restaurant, public health do a report and slap a fine if you're negligent. I can almost bet on a no win no fee company advertising 'did you get covid as a result of negligence? Call us now for a free consultation'.

This is the reason why it should have allowed IFOLLOW to continue until such time as football is back to normal. This is a shambles as are most things associated with our club.

I agree its not but the fact that football is not back to normal makes the decision a farce.

How can you ever prove where you caught COVID if you do get it? Regardless it still doesn't make any sense why Rovers are so strict but City and Exeter City both have no controls.

Not a lot of it makes sense if you ask me. Went to see RagNBone Man at Bath Races, outdoor, but not a check or mask in sight. Great night, very normal. I don't mind the checks, but i think if its tricky for some people to use technology so we should assist more on the phones and the like. Brother in law down this weekend Spurs but very fond of Rovers), easily enough to get a ticket but East Stand seems to have two sections and two prices. I am assuming they are having a split in the terrace, but as a ST can I stand where I want. Not clear, but I will work it out, get him the £20 not £26 one and go where we are told.

I don't have a smart phone or a printer so would have to pay a total of £1.75 to have a ticket posted.... I used to get an early bird with a £2 reduction.... Thats a £3.75 swing on a £20 ticket....

A great aunt of mine who is in her 90s is more than competent operating her iPad to do shopping, order things online talk on zoom and Skype and use various apps so I don’t subscribe that old people can’t use tech. They can, if they are shown and are willing to learn to do something they enjoy.

Eric, just in case you do not have Inyternet access to the NHS website, or can't still get the app to work on your phone, you can ring 119 and request the "Covid passport" in a letter. The advantage of this method, is that it is valid for an unlimited amount of time, rather than the 1 month the electronic forms are available. This from the Gov website: Get a paper version (vaccination status only) You can get an NHS COVID Pass letter sent to you in the post. This shows you've been vaccinated against COVID-19. It does not show COVID-19 test results. You can ask for a letter after having your 2nd dose of the vaccine, or after a single-dose Janssen vaccine. You may need to wait 5 working days before using the service, so that your record will be up to date. You should get the letter within 5 working days. You can use your letter at venues in England where you need to prove your COVID-19 status 2 weeks after you have been fully vaccinated. You do not need to be registered with a GP surgery or have an NHS login for this. You can get a letter by: requesting a COVID Pass letter online or calling 119 – do not call 119 if you're travelling in more than 4 weeks' time It is also known as a COVID-19 post vaccination letter. The paper version does not have an expiry date. Hope this helps some.

We seem to be the only club implementing these rules, should either be one blanket rule for all clubs or none at all IMO.
