We seem to be the only club implementing these rules, should either be one blanket rule for all clubs or none at all IMO. It would have seemed sensible for the EFL to take the lead. I can see that away fans who are used to no restrictions may get caught out when coming to the Mem. The individual Safety Advisory Groups making different decisions for two teams in the same city does seem ludicrous - maybe each group sets their own standards to be met?

It was loading up ID photo of passport/ driving licence that beat me on the app and all the codes sent that beat me. Said the image was unacceptable and so decided to give it a break before trying again. Guess a lot of the older fans might struggle like me. Unfortunately the vaccination centre did not stamp my card for second jab so guess football will have to go on without me for the next few months. But thanks for advice Eric. ID Photo? Of Passport/Driving Licence? Didn't have to do any of that when I sorted my app out. From memory I think if you set up your NHS App with your NHS number you avoid having download ID which looks like the most complicated part of the process. My advice before setting up would be to find your NHS number first - piece of cake when you have that.

Thank you Eric, thought I was going mad and actually checked mine worked this morming thinking I'd done it wrong. I installed the app, with my NHS number, and it was done. No id required.

Ultimately will put people off attending and will cost the club.

No mention of Covid passports/ vaccination proof etc for Oldham fans coming to Rovers? www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/2021/august2/09082021-bristol-rovers-away-ticket-news/How does that work then?

Do you have your NHS number from any medical correspondence? If you have that it makes registering with the App a lot easier. Have a look at the FAQ’s as well, not 100% sure but thought I read the vaccination card you had stamped when you got your jabs was acceptable. (I might be wrong on that so do double check) It was loading up ID photo of passport/ driving licence that beat me on the app and all the codes sent that beat me. Said the image was unacceptable and so decided to give it a break before trying again. Guess a lot of the older fans might struggle like me. Unfortunately the vaccination centre did not stamp my card for second jab so guess football will have to go on without me for the next few months. But thanks for advice Eric. Not sure what app that is but I downloaded it last night and didn't need any sort of photo ID. You sure that's the official app??

Nor do Stevenage make any mention of it for their visit on Saturday. So presumably away supporters are exempt whilst home supporters are not! Incidentally, both Stevenage and Cheltenham are still selling season tickets whilst we are not. As are @ity of course. Wish someone would explain the rationale behind some of our club's decisions.

I'm a ST holder, and doubled jabbed, but I'm not risking it if it's unrestricted. Delta is up to 6 times more contagious than the strains last year.

Waste of time having this in place in the first instance. Asking a individual for documentation without checking is pointless. You could get in with a qrcode from tesco last night let alone the ones who have taken screenshots of the nhs qr code from friends and family.

Many posters were saying they wouldn't bother going because all the checks and queues were just too complicated, and others will now say they're not going because it's too risky. I'm glad I'm not at the club making these decisions.

Literally no other club I know of were doing it anyway not entirely sure why we were? Genuinely think this will boost the attendance Saturday now.
