We're in a completely false position. Toothless up front isn't a recipe for playoff places. How can you be in a false position after 25 games? We are where we are, we're a decent team, no more no less. When you've played more games than the others around you. So decent we're getting d**ked by Bath City.

Our lack of goals is a real problem which despite recent activity hasn't been sorted.Lack of genuine quality up front will consign us to the anonymity of the Conference again I feel.Glad I didn't make the 240 mile round journey to-day!! I think zero creativity in midfield is as much the problem. When your main midfield players at the start of the game are Clarke and Sinclair you know "zero creativity" is spot on!

What was it that someone once said? I remember now, "we can now concentrate on the league" So we can concentrate on throwing away the league now then??

With Clark in charge? Not a chance sadly. He can't swallow his pride and accept the fact the kid has pulled his balls out of a vice more than once. Really poor management ! Nothing up front so he leaves our best striker on the bench !! Too frustrating for words. FFS DC wake up ! Bottom club in Conference have scored 1 goal less than us and played 2 games less ! Promotion ? Your having a laugh !!

Peter Aitkin on the radio says what some of you have been saying for some time, that Taylor and Blisset/Wall(previous strikers also) are too distant from each other to be effective and that Wall is not taking up the right positions for crosses. Why can't DC see this? Did we really try hard enough to beat Bath to focus on promotion? Recent form indicates we have problems which all of the strikers we have used won't be solved until we have the ability to create goals.

Bath were miles better than Welling, Telford, Nuneaton etc. We have been made to look abysmal. Bath fully deserved it.
We massively missed Mansell and Clarke had an absolute shocker in his place.
Balanta was better when he was injured.
Martin probably won't play again.
I think LDVs injury has hit us hard and I'm nervous that it could lead to a bit of a bad spell for us. All this talk about how being out of this cup would be a good thing but the manner of the defeat will hit us hard I think. The reaction at the game will have hit every one of them hard.
No excuses now. We must make the playoffs. People will say we need a striker etc but we created f**k all so having Costa upfront would have made no difference.

Got the tree up this afternoon! Fully justifying the decision not to watch!
Clarke will have plenty of time to take his down if we have a poor Xmas!
I wonder what our Finance Director makes of this cup defeat?!

Bath were not that great they just had more desire and less pressure. We had enough possesion to have buried them in the first half, but as usual with rovers the longer the game goes on without us scoring the more likely we are to concede as happened. After that we fell appart much as we did at Braintree Good luck to Bath they took their oppertunities and deserved to progress.

I would love to see us play 4-3-1-2 with Taylor in behind Harrison and Blissett. Close the gap between mid and forward line and get ball on the ffing deck using the pace and strength of Blissett and Harrison. Pointless banging up high balls like we did last season for Harrold and co. IT DONT WORK. DC has to change his way of thinking his forward line or we will be Conference side for years
