Who knew so many qualified coaches/managers used this forum? Don't talk sh*t about Clarke being clueless. Because trust me, I can ensure you he knows much more than all the wannabe Mourinhos on here! Still clueless. Give us a clue tbone, why is he "Clueless" i'm sure all your years in football coaching can enlighten us lemmings where he is going wrong ??

Today was the most embarrassing display I have ever seen since I've watched the gas from 1993!!!! Agree, and I have been watching since the early sixties, the word clueless gets used a lot and today we were

It seems the age old problem at Rovers of the team not being up for these sorts of games is alive and well. How we can go from tearing Barnet a new one to this is beyond me.

I said before today, I fear it is going to be a rough ride until we strengthen in January. Our weakness is in midfield and it has been all season. DC needs to add some creativity into this important area or we will continue to struggle to create chances. Not too worried about losing today as the league is far more important . I don't get this at all. You say we lack creativity and need to add some but are not worried about lose today. Is it just me or is this contradictory? How can you expect the board to back Clarke in January when the money that goes towards signings in January should come from matches like today where we can go on a little cup run and gain a bit of extra finance? (and I am a Clarke fan by the way!)

Can't wait, myself. Walked the dogs, done the chores, getting ready to blast off up the M5 in an hour's time. Things I love about cup games: the variety of opposition; the break from the tension and grind of point-gathering; the feeling that as each round goes by, we are getting nearer to a final and a trophy; the draw for the next round, wondering who we'll get. It's like opening a Chrissy present! COME ON GAS!!! And of course... sudden death.

Didn't know that lefty twat Ken Loach was a Bath fan... He does loads of fund raising for Bath City, special screenings of his latest films etc . Even got Cantona to give a talk at Twerton Park when he made that film with him. Keeps a low profile, and is more of a terrace fan, than prawn sandwich brigade (unsurprisingly). Genius film-maker. Certainly the most talented bloke in that stadium today!

Just wish I'd known we were gonna throw the game, I could've saved the tenner.
gave them nothing. A real new low.
Edit: Wasn't this pretty much the first team as well?

And that attitude hails from the boardroom! Who told fans that we were too good to go down? Who said that we hadn't made plans for relegation? The **** attitude runs throughout the club!!!

I'm not sure any money cn be classes as little money with the position we now find ourselves in. We need all the money and help we can get.

Really poor management ! Nothing up front so he leaves our best striker on the bench !! Too frustrating for words. FFS DC wake up ! Bottom club in Conference have scored 1 goal less than us and played 2 games less ! Promotion ? Your having a laugh !! If you think Harrison is the answer, we definately have major problems! Amd you would have who up front ?

If you think Harrison is the answer, we definately have major problems! Amd you would have who up front ? Anyone apart from and I quote "our best striker" up front. Harrison has had plenty of chances over the last few seasons and apart from the very odd goal and a hat trick against very inferior opposition he has clearly failed to deliver not only on the goalscoring front but all other areas of the game. You have provided me with no evidence to prove otherwise.

You can't very well say "apart from all the evidence to prove otherwise you have provided me with no evidence to prove otherwise". Cross to Kaid v Morecambe last season meant we still had it all to play for going into the last game. Four games this season he's scored or set up last minute winners meaning the DC love in could continue ... actually it was more like begin rather than continue at that stage. Hat trick in the fa cup qualifiers. Scored for Wales u21s. So ... where's the evidence for your assertions?

So it's now the day after and i think we can look for positives of being out of this cup comp. And they are to win promotion we want to play the least amount of games, more games played mean more injured key players take Bliss yesterday might be out for the next game who knows.Promotion is the only thing i want this year don't care about any cups TBH. UTG..

I wanted to win the Trophy, but we're out so that's over. Fair enough.
Looking up from the carnage of yesterday, we now have only the league and that is all that matters. We are 3rd with over half the season gone. We may or may not catch Barnet, but we are looking very credible for the playoffs.
As someone said on here the other day, the playoffs are not a lottery, any more than the semis of a cup are a lottery. We have been very tough to beat - in the league (he quickly added) and would have an excellent chance of getting through those two legs and into a Wembley showdown.
And, as I look out of my window, the sun is shining!
