Not bothered about losing. Teams historically don't do well in this cup and get promoted.
I think the aim was to get through the game injury free and move on to the important game Friday.
My only worry is no goals in three games with two part time defenses mixed into that.

Bath were miles better than Welling, Telford, Nuneaton etc. We have been made to look abysmal. Bath fully deserved it. We massively missed Mansell and Clarke had an absolute shocker in his place. Balanta was better when he was injured. Martin probably won't play again. I think LDVs injury has hit us hard and I'm nervous that it could lead to a bit of a bad spell for us. All this talk about how being out of this cup would be a good thing but the manner of the defeat will hit us hard I think. The reaction at the game will have hit every one of them hard. No excuses now. We must make the playoffs. People will say we need a striker etc but we created flip all so having Costa upfront would have made no difference.  |

I find it really funny the so called "experts" say you cannot do well in the league and cup.
They clearly forget that the last two promotions in 1989/90 and 2006/07 we got to a final at Wembley and the Millennium Stadium so it was not a problem then.

Quote taken from the Official web site - Rovers didn’t pose a great threat on the Bath goal in what was a frustrating afternoon for the men in blue and white. Im a DC fan and want him to succeed here, but many managers have lost there jobs for less than this debacle today, or are Bath City another of those tough sides to compete against? |

Whilst I was not there today, I suspect that DC did very little to improve his standing in their eyes.

How can you be in a false position after 25 games? We are where we are, we're a decent team, no more no less. When you've played more games than the others around you. So decent we're getting d**ked by Bath City. Only Grimsby and Eastleigh can catch us with their game(s) in hand? |

I said before today, I fear it is going to be a rough ride until we strengthen in January. Our weakness is in midfield and it has been all season. DC needs to add some creativity into this important area or we will continue to struggle to create chances. Not too worried about losing today as the league is far more important . |

Leadbitter likes going forward but not tackling
Martin was crap as per usual
Sinclair was alone
Clarke looked like a 5 year old
Balanta didn't want to play in such poor company
Blissett was terrible
Taylor can't do it all or score for that fact
Wall is a idiot
Gosling is putting on weight
I left after 80m incensed!
Clarkes interview annoyed me further!
