Out of interest, gulfofaden, have you ever seen a the film "Soylent Green"? Great film with a young Jenny Agguter I can't trace any record of her being in it. It was released 1973,she went to Hollywood 1974. Main stars Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson. Not a very nice film actually, but very prophetic.

Not really sure we can moan about having 1200 tickets for a ground that holds 5000. Home end consists of 1 stand and 2 terraces. If they sell enough home tickets to fill 1 and a bit terraces then away fans won't get anymore (segregation) Home crowd is 1/3 of the population of the parish which is more than reasonable IMO. There are a number of occasions where we could have given away teams more allocation but didn't. Yes, I live near there so have been to a handful of games but I've been gas since birth (Dad lived in one of the houses that were demolished at the bottom of Muller Road to put the road junction in)
However,
Lack of turnstiles all at one end of the away end. Hence everyone having to shuffle up Parking. Burgers. Although the Q pies are alright. People in main stand knitting or reading novels. Eco celeb fans. Not sure how Damien Hurst got allowed in after what he did to that cow

Both City and Swindon this season have complained massively saying FGR Oversold tickets, only one ticket stand open to get into the ground so very long queues and are not prepared for big away crowds. If you’re planning on going, my advice would be get there as early as you can. ... and when Bristol City fans complained to Dale Vince on Twitter about the overcrowding, poor views etc he just taunted them

It's a shame Dale Vince is an arrogant prat, because there are many things I actually admire him for in his views and actions, but I can't be brought to like him.

Funny how most of these campaigners fit the bill. It’s almost like an authoritarian system which restricts peoples rights and freedoms (under the banner of saving the world) is of interest to wealthy narcissists who don’t need to play by the same rules. It’s almost like they will have the world to themselves while everyone else lives in city pods eating locally grown broccoli. We had an old system which preached being humble for the good of mankind, while the clergy lived it up. Things don’t change much. The moment those “leading the way” change their habits im on board. While they maintain their conferences and private jets and spectacular luxury, all claims for wanting a “fairer, sustainable world” are merely hot air - which sadly also leads to global warming.

Thought he had mellowed a bit over the past few years and got less "preachy" over Vegan stuff. Was very much for all players being vegan whereas now he's a bit more forgiving on what players do when 'out of office.' Same with the public where he's a bit more 'just try it' His attitude seems to have gone back to type. Really not helping his cause. 'Come to the worlds only vegan club, see all the signs about rain water used on pitch (Might have won an award for being best organic pitch..... it's the only organic pitch and looked distinctly average last time I saw it) We have a solar charged mower. Try our vegan food. We'll then treat you badly and then put you off the whole idea that I was putting out to you in the first place'

I presume the medication they take or the partners they choose was up to them too?

I agree with some of what you say. I do believe that there is a lot of hypocrisy flying around (sometimes literally!) but that's par for the course in politics and at the upper echelons of society. Do you not think though that your attitude is rather childish and petty "I'll be onboard when they do their bit". I mean, if we ALL do our own little bit, even if it's just spending 10 minutes more each week to do more recycling or composting or something, that's better than just saying "* it, as they're not doing enough over there, so why should I?". That attitude is something I find very negative and doesn't help anyone.

Last time I went there was in the conference play offs, myself and about 500 other gasheads went in the home end, some bloke who obviously thought he was surrounded by Forest Green supporters started singing City chants and got filled in. Dark times indeed. Anyone who feels the need to beat someone up for something like that must be an idiot. I’m not condoning it, but the bloke was literally looking for trouble.

Look at it: They say the worlds going to end Broadly, they say the solution to the world ending is to accept less. Lower living standards. The people saying this do nothing of the sort. Doing that little extra bit while others do as they please, is what I call being a mug. If anything it’s naieve to want your head patted for being a good person while others take the loot. Exactly like the peasants who lived meagre lives for pleasures in heaven. While the church smiled and took the money
