I'm not and never would support racist posts etc however I do believe that in todays woke and cancelled culture people brand others as racist/homophobic (not relating this to this thread) far too easily. Example.. "I voted for brexit" (not me personally as I have stated I didn't vote as I would be branded a hypocrite).....usual response "everyone who voted for brexit is racist" it could be argued the opposite ! As soon as someone says "I'm not racist" or "I'm not homophobic".....usual response is "for you to say that means you must be a racist or homophobic" Another example of how society is going do you believe it right that British Airways has dropped the Captain or first officer saying "Good morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls" because it might offend 1 person who identifies themselves as non binary. Because I don't agree with that does it really make me anti people who identify as non binary ? |
