Regarding the Santa thing anyway - honestly who cares? I'm all up for these sorts of adverts because it shows people's real views.

And we wonder why this forum is dying out, banning someone over voicing his opinion. Very harsh from the mods and just comes across as controlling. Agree with our opinion or be banned is what it comes across as. In Icegas defence this very topic was brought up in the office today at work and 99% of the room had nearly the same opinion as him. Who knows I must just be working in a racist, biggot far right work placeā¦ You know Santa hasn't been replaced right? That it's just one depiction of him. And he's made up. What a hill to die on. Still laughing hereš

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-59421259Tory MP says female Dr who is the root of social problems. Is anyone buying this blatant bullsh1t? Whilst the Tories wreak havoc in parliament and create laws to keep themselves in power.

How dare you tarnish my memory of Santa. He's a nice heterosexual gentleman who has missionary intercourse with his lady wife once a year after the pressie run. Hes tired but accepts it is good for the relationship and takes a stiff upper lip approach to the matter, as he should, being British of course. In earnest, she accepts his irritating beard. Its a symbiosis. No funny business. Unless we are talking about the Santa who sits outside Primark doing photographs. Not certain he's been DBS checked. I also asked everyone I work with and 99% agreed that conversation therapy doesn't work and that nothing they see on the telly effects their biological development or sexual preferences. That said, I work with some right twats. Been self employed 10 years now. Agree. Based on what I've heard myself tell other people, most children would be able to tell a gay lego set from a proper masculine one with sharp corners.

Times when we had proper singers like Freddie Mercury and George Michael, entertainers like Larry Grason and Dame Edna and the news was read by proper English people like Moira Stewart and Trevor Mac....oh wait...

Weird. It turned my gay kids straight. Swap? If they watch it at your house do you reckon it will cure them of the straightness they've caught from Gay Santa? Asking for a friend.

It makes you go Oooh like Kenneth Williams when you stand on it.

Divide and conquer etc... Old colonial tricks used on their own population.

What's sad is that there are problems with the radical and centre left that should be debated, just as there are on the right. Boris is so clearly not fit for purpose and yet Conservative voters lap it up because they are same people who get all upset because someone made a gay version of a fictional character. It's the same with SJWs who vilify men for all the ill in the world. There is no one representing regular people with centrist views and that void is being filled and exploited by idiots. A very sad state of affairs.

A very sad state of affairs. Depends how you define a 'normal' person really. (If you can!) You describe one as a centrist (neoliberal) Neoliberalism failed and the so called 'radicals' came out in reaction to that (Corbyn & Johnson) The neolibs sided with Johnson in 2019, so we are where we are... But that's only looking at it from a western political lens, which I would say is broken anyway.

A theoretical middle ground where there is a balance between looking after everyone (socialism) and in ensuring everyone is responsible for doing their bit and not taking the water. (Small c conservatism) I wish for a time where both sides actually work together rather than ramp up and dig in on all the petty things that divide them. I refuse to belive that every Labour policy is and every Tory one is bad and vise versa. Maybe you are right again, I'm probably not normal. I still think I'm right though.

At least you're willing to have an open civil discussion, that goes a long way. Throwing every person into 2 or 3 camps is dangerous, which is why some detest politics.

Agreed But didn't you do exactly that by defining centrists as "Neo Liberal"?

The current political system dominates so you have to speak in its own language, infuriating as it is.
