She was either lying then or lying now. Put her on the stand and then charge her for perverting the course of justice...? Yep. She was the one who called the police ffs!!! She also needs to be called as a witness to be on the stand and at the moment the CPS don't seem to want to call her. |

Who cares…? Whether he did it or not there won’t be a case as she is the main witness and I highly doubt she will give any evidence in court. Moving on!

More waste of tax payers money? How can a trial proceed when the main, and only?, witness has withdrawn her allegations? Perhaps JB has rattled the wrong cage with his recent X/formally Twitter, rants as it's odd the CPS have waited so long? The law isn’t equal. He’s a celebrity and they are desperate for their show trial - similar cases without the celebrity involvement would have been long forgotten. He may be a celebrity in your mind but very few others. |

He may be a celebrity in your mind but very few others. Happy to refer to him as a well known person if that makes a difference to you. 🙄 |

Depends how you define celebrity, he is a very well known controversial figure and frequently in the public eye so in that respect eric is right, probably better known than many of the people who appear in 'celebrity this 'or 'celebrity that'. |

The incident involved a now ex-club employee in a personal capacity and so the topic is no longer Rovers related. |

That’s the CPS not Gaschat… and whether the cps are interested or not it won’t go to a prosecution. People moan about Joey Barton being forever linked with our club yet it’s the same people that make threads about him 😂. |
