Why would anyone want to drive a bus under the stand? Rich? Cliff Richard ?

The space under the South Stand is surprisingly big. Barriers stopped me getting a proper look but you could drive a large bus through it! Why would anyone want to drive a bus under the stand? To run over those who don't understand the use of everyday objects to give a sense of scale?

Sorry if I missed it but what is our current capacity and what were the attendances v Pompey and Charlton.
To me it seemed quite a few less less night.
As the club is on the crest of the wave hopefully we can still have a sell out when the next game is played.

Such a shame we couldn't have packed in 12k to witness those fantastic last 2 home games

I may have missed this but what is the plan with regard to using the South Stand. Division between season tickets/available on the day and away fans? Anyone seen any information on this?

About 10 of us stand in the middle tier just left of the goal, i arrived about 7.30 last night and
had trouble getting through as groups were packed together, with large spaces between, and
a lot of people want to stand close to the gangways.
There is normally plenty of space in the Thatchers as they reduced the capacity after the pitch invasion.

Pretty sure once it’s finally up & running, it will be depend on the potential size of the away following’s, I would imagine clubs like Derby & Reading would get 2-3 blocks, but clubs with smaller following’s probably less, meaning more seats available for home pay on the day. Shouldn’t be much of a problem to move the segregation netting around to suit & have a line of stewards where necessary.

I didn’t know until yesterday that you can’t take a beer bought in the fanzone into the ground - even though you can buy a beer as soon as you get through the turnstiles

I assume that season tickets will only be available in the first block or two towards the south west corner

Slightly annoying that the home fans get stuck in that corner with restricted views and the away fans will get the better view. Not sure yet how the seats will be divided up when we play the bigger clubs….. will they get 3/4 of the stand ? Think if we’re doing well and crowds increase we should limit away fans just to the current end section and away terrace. That stand with 2.5k Gasheads would create an incredible atmosphere.

Just found it weird that you can buy a beer in the fanzone but not take it one yard beyond the turnstile yet you can go to the bar behind the SW stand and walk back towards the same turnstile and stand the same one yard inside the ground with drink in hand without a problem. No idea why but seems you can only drink a beer bought in the fanzone within the fanzone and a drink bought in the ground can only be consumed in the ground. I don’t understand that logic.

If you could buy a beer in the Fanzone and take it into the ground, what is to stop you drinking it while the game is happening? I think that is probably the logic happening.

You can drink whilst the game is on but you are stopped from doing so in the stand or terrace - I’ve seen Stewards doing that many times. My point is that you are allowed to stand and drink on the tarmac area behind the west stand for example. but only if you’re drinking something bought in the ground - the exact same drink bought from the fanzone can only be drunk in the fanzone. I just found that bizarre tbh.
