Pretty much everything is going up (except my income ) Not a surprise is it,the costs of putting on a game must have gone up substantially with inflation and energy costs, seems a realistic price . I am not in any way surprised. Most businesses are facing an increase in running costs and they will obviously have to pass some or all of these increases onto the consumer. You just hope that the businesses putting up their prices to cover these increases etc are also passing on some extra money to their staff and not just ensuring their profit margin is intact or expanded. (although in Rovers' case we are some way off breaking even anyway..!!)

Mine has gone up by £29. Where is the justification in that? Because when you were buying your early bird season ticket last season we were in a division below. Season tickets are fantastic value when we’re winning home games but a complete ripoff when we get beat by the likes of Morecambe! 😂

The White Hart on East Street (by me) does Doom Bar for £2 a pint HOWEVER you have to spend a day in the fog of beer farts and trying to figure out which one of the locals is going to get punchy later on

Punchy arse smelling locals? I can get that at home. On my own.

Even though there’s a small increase which was to be expected with the cost of living rises in general, I think now the club has introduced the ticket exchange scheme, getting a season ticket is better value than previously. Even the most ardent season ticket holder probably misses a couple of matches due to various circumstances ( sickness, holidays, events etc ) so before would lose out financially on those matches but now, especially with seats being at a premium can gain a proportional refund.

I'm in the West Enclosure 65+ =8.65 a game. Same here, still a reasonable price for us OAP’s., especially considering my Nat pension is going up by £110month or thereabouts.

Not being your advanced age HG, my West Enclosure ticket works out at £14.74 per game. I usually miss 3 or 4, so even at 19 games, that's still less than £18 per game. Happy with that personally.

The ticket exchange is brilliant for me. Living 100+ miles from Bristol I miss a few, especially midweek games. Before my only option was someone using it and buying me a pint. Now the option of getting £20 credited back. Very good value and ensures no empty seat!

The club must lose a fair proportion of revenue with season tickets. If admission was at full price the profits would be so much greater.

Hi Grant, i will be getting a season ticket but for some people the ifollow is a good option i will miss a few home games so make take advantage of the ticket exchange system however that works... Sadly my health is not as good these days so standing for many hours is getting very problematical at best !

The club must lose a fair proportion of revenue with season tickets. If admission was at full price the profits would be so much greater. On the other hand, if we had a rubbish season the on the day crowds would be much lower. Season ticket sales are guaranteed income. Obviously, if next season is wonderful and we're top all season then the club misses out on turnover. Also, don't forget that season ticket sales pay the staff during summer when there is no match income at all.

Does someone need to buy your specific ticket/seat in order for you to get the TM credit applied? The reason I ask is that if your ticket needs to sell first you have a good chance if your ST is in the West or East Stand. If like me you stand on the East Terrace it is less likely to sell because tickets there are less in demand? I think when buying terrace tickets you still have to click as if you were taking a specific seat. Would I be totally reliant on someone happening to tick ‘my spot’ in order to get my ticket refund credit?
