The ticket exchange is brilliant for me. Living 100+ miles from Bristol I miss a few, especially midweek games. Before my only option was someone using it and buying me a pint. Now the option of getting £20 credited back. Very good value and ensures no empty seat! How does the ticket exchange work? Does someone need to buy your specific ticket/seat in order for you to get the TM credit applied? The reason I ask is that if your ticket needs to sell first you have a good chance if your ST is in the West or East Stand. If like me you stand on the East Terrace it is less likely to sell because tickets there are less in demand? I think when buying terrace tickets you still have to click as if you were taking a specific seat. Would I be totally reliant on someone happening to tick ‘my spot’ in order to get my ticket refund credit? I posted my ST spot on the East Terrace for the Burton game due to work commitments, very easy to do but unfortunately (due to it not exactly being a glamour fixture I guess and we were on a bad run of form) it didn’t get snapped up. Still nice to have the chance of clawing back £15 that would previously be missed in days gone by. I’d suspect any game against the Pompey’s, Ipswich, bolton, Sheff wed etc…next season especially would be no trouble selling it on.

It’s a nice little perk for those with ‘in demand’ season ticket seats but less likely to be of value to those on the terraces. Not a problem - now know where I stand so to speak!

umm mine gone up £199.95 for 23 games... ifollow @ £10 per game so that's 20 games covered.... Go figure Would you not rather be at the game though? Not being your advanced age HG, my West Enclosure ticket works out at £14.74 per game. I usually miss 3 or 4, so even at 19 games, that's still less than £18 per game. Happy with that personally. If you can manage to sell the tickets for the games you can't attend, then that would reduce the £14.95 per game even further.

My "in demand" the ticket hasn't sold the two times I put it up for sale for attractive games, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not being passed on to somebody to use on the QT.

Shows as a red dot not blue on the map. But as never any for sale, they seem to go quick Assume East Terrace would need to sell out before someone would select a red dot in the east terrace, not sure how they allocate if more than one seller? Pot luck I guess

Pot luck I guess For some odd reason potential buyers have to self select the "resale" tickets option otherwise only normal tickets are shown for sale. Not sure how it works for terrace tickets when a supporter chooses to purchase a "resale" to automatically get the first ticket offered for sale, or just have to select one at random?

Most people arent going to pick an imaginary standing spot either, they’ll just let the computer pick which ticket you get.
And I bet you it prefers non-exchanged tickets over the exchanged one to maximise revenue.
Therefore meaning it has to otherwise be a sell out area for a terrace ticket to go to exchange sellers.

Not a surprise is it,the costs of putting on a game must have gone up substantially with inflation and energy costs, seems a realistic price . I am not in any way surprised. Most businesses are facing an increase in running costs and they will obviously have to pass some or all of these increases onto the consumer. You just hope that the businesses putting up their prices to cover these increases etc are also passing on some extra money to their staff and not just ensuring their profit margin is intact or expanded. (although in Rovers' case we are some way off breaking even anyway..!!) I’m surprised it isn’t more tbh. They should do some ST bundles with additional perks or exclusive merch etc in.

A few have have said theirs have gone up by £19 or £29. It seems the family and kids seated tickets that have gone up the most. Our 4 seats have gone up by £176 from this current season to renew for next, which is going to be a bit of a stretch if I’m honest at £44 per person more for a family of 4, but we’ll have to make it work…

I'm hoping that the new EFL paper gets some trickle down money from the greedy barstewards in the premiership,we don't have the scale to offset a £2m loss each year.

Brentford operate the ticket exchange system, they are making changes next season. If you can't attend a game, and don't list your ticket on the exchange, or give it to a fellow supporter to use, you will be issued with a yellow card. 4 yellow cards in a season and you lose the right to renew for the following season. They obviously have a high demand for seats, so I suppose it makes sense to try and make sure that every seat is used.

Mine has gone up by £29. Where is the justification in that? Pay for all the team of coaches

Erk, these season ticket renewals seem to come round quicker every year...! Last year it was 2nd week of April.

Anyone happen to know if a 10 year old is eligible for an under 10s ticket? I'm guessing not.

With the way they move games at a whim and peoples changing circumstances. Wonder if they would still operate that system if they ever drop down divisions.

One of the buzzwords at work is continuous improvement.
Last season there was still an issue with STs in November and player sponsorships were announced in October and shirts were delayed (we were told his was outside the clubs control though).
By doing things early this season, it seems the commercial department are actually giving some thought about processes and planning to prevent errors from last season.
Hopefully they will have learned from their mistakes and everything will be ready for August. It will make Pete's life a lot easier!

I see that last year the family package allowed you to get 1 adult and up to 2 U16s. Now it’s 1 adult and up to 2 U14s. My eldest turns 14 in the summer, so might get away with a family package for one more season but was hoping to be able to do this up until they are 16. Season after next might just prove too expensive with this change.

Wonder if the 1 month early launch is to get some funds in for work to be carried out in the summer!

I've missed a few games this season where I have got near the ground but had to turn back at the last minute due to health on the day. Just waiting for the club to get back to me on changing east terrace to east seating ST. Q & A's didn't cover this
