He’d be out injured with tonsillitis for most of it… How very dare you!  Tilly I bumped into Alex Rodman in Sainsbury’s Stoke Gifford on the eve of Valentine’s Day. We were both buying last minute gifts for the wife. I didn’t speak to him but he bought a £30 bunch and I errrr, um… bought an £8 special! Oh he is out for six months now with hay fever by the way. |

The Pirate tomorrow features an article with Geoff.
I would imagine there is a good chance that the programme will sell out due to the large crowd, so try and get there early if you want to purchase one.
Hopefully should be a good prize on the 50/50 as well.

Could Geoff being replaced by Sam Frost? I appreciate Sam isn't a radio journalist but am sure he could adapt and do a very good job.

I had a look at that and he doesn’t say what he intends to do next, Paul Randall asked him iof he was taking over from Twentyman but had no reply. |

I would imagine something will happen at the FC Awards ceremony.
Pity, as it looks like money talks and the ordinary punter misses out again.
I'm sure Geoff would have had a great send off from the fans if there was a shirt presentation on the pitch today.

Drinking time in the fanzone, what a joke, queued for twenty minutes and gave up, will be back to The Anchor or The Wellington next season, thought I’d try it as that’s where my pals were heading. Oh and the food huts need a kick, fifteen minutes in my boy wanted a drink, queued while the children “serving” checked their phones and ignored customers. Thought Bolton took the two goals well in the second half, we didn’t deserve anything, hopefully the last time we will see a few of those players in Rovers shirts. |

Yep I went looking for a programme at 2.45 for the Twentyman piece and had no luck either. I get it on a normal match day but if we’re going to have special features for special notable events it makes sense to print extra. |
