Could be interesting in L1 - Wigan -8 Who knows what will happen at Fleetwood where there could be an absolute financial Road crash staring them in the face. Blackpool fans are nervous about finances also .... Shrewsbury melting down behind the scenes - SC very unhappy about Board room intervention. Hopefully we get to play Wigan early rather than after they are reborn with finances and have spent a fortune on a new squad as Derby managed to get away with.

Clubs such as Derby and Bolton should never have been able to have come back, not at the level they did, it made football even more of a joke and punishments more of a travesty. It’s very hard not to get wound up when you see certain teams get grace and favour over decent community assets, such as Bury

It's time Rovers started to make real progress in trying to gain promotion from Division 1. The endless yoyoing from Division1 and Two is awfully frustrating. Oh, I forgot the Conference!

Will cost and even though some have said other clubs have done it, on a small budget, do they stay up ?going up and staying up are 2 different things and it’s why Gerry Francis said the bubble had burst with how far he could take us. Maybe now, we have someone who can get the outside investment. It’s a rare thing to have a Wrexham happen. As much as i agree with you, none of chose the rovers for glory.

Do you really think Wael is content to be spending £3m every season just to remain a L1 side, or most of the other L1 sides are also not trying to get promoted? Although the excuse the Mem is not up to staging Championship football can now be put to rest.

Shouldn't stop us from trying next season, though.

COME ON YOU OWLS
I placed a ‘to be promoted’ Acca before any first leg matches had kicked off.
Luton, Carlisle & Wednesday. Fiver on at 33/1, a win there would be very useful indeed😍🤞🏻
Though it looked all over after that night at London Road😂

Is grass essential? Still a good amount of historically higher league teams and well supported. We really need to buck the trend of poor starts and start off, flying.

Portsmouth Derby Bolton and charlton would be the only teams on their day i would expect to finish above us and have first dibs on available players. The rest at the same level or below us.

Looking at the 24, with 2 relegated teams in trouble and only probably Orient troubling the top half from promoted sides, this really does look like a good chance for Joey to take his shot. Needs an outstanding summer window and for once, a decent start. Might be the best chance he (and we) get for a while.
