As well as being able to plan my holidays and weekends, looking forward to Thursday to see what it throws up.
What are you hoping for?
First game away I assume, Wigan or Reading would be a great time to play them
First home game against Northampton or Stevenage!

Oxford at home is usually quite early - TBH I am finding it hard to get excited with so little happening on the signings front - hopefully something very soon. |

Not keen on Gillingham…..had some bad experiences in Tinker Town. Nice pub though, opposite Chatham police station….while we waited for our mate to get let out. City fan as well….only came for the Jolly…He could start a fight in a coffin. True story. |

Peterborough away probably 🤨 I remember going to Peterborough away, first game of the season. Pregnant wife. We got thumped 4-1, I even missed our goal as the wife had sent me to get her some water as it was a really hot day. Little did I know that at the end of that season, I would be at Wembley with the little boy cheering on Sammy Igoe! Bring on Peterborough, hopefully history will repeat itself (without the pregnant wife, just haven't got time for that sort of thing). |

Remember that game well - what a dreadful start to the season.
Came away so depressed.

Then home to Barnsley. Two tough opening fixtures. Hopefully Pompey will not have been able to bed in all their new signings so could be a good time to play them away.
