You have to wonder where the line is drawn with regards to what Wael allows him to post on his Twitter account, which he also uses to Tweet Rovers related news, as it's hard to believe a Rovers manager, or anybody employed by Rovers for that matter, can Tweet that they find this type of interview "interesting": Tucker Carlson jetted off to Romania to join Andrew Tate for a sit-down chat at his home on the outskirts of Bucharest, where the influencer remains under house arrest. Last month, the 36-year-old king of toxic masculinity was charged with rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to exploit women.i Of course our "esteemed" manager will come out and condemn Tate and his acolytes. Surely? i listened to the first couple of minutes and Carlson was talking some nonsense about schools taking out urinals and forcing boys to sit on the toilet, I've no idea who'd find what he was saying "interesting", I'm guessing Tate's used the interview to claim he's completely innocent and simply been framed. |

I think what he means is that Barton should come out and condemn some of Tate’s misogynistic remarks. I feel if he just clarifies that he found the podcast interesting but he doesn’t endorse some of the other stuff Tate or Carlson have said, people will mostly move on. |

At the end of the day what he tweeted didn’t say anything bad or even that he agrees with Tate even listening to people you disagree with you can find interesting and learn from also at the moment the Tate brother are innocent till proven guilty in the court of law. Too many people trying to create unnecessary drama on here lately seems like when there is no football to watch people have nothing but drama and overreacting to fill the void.

Precisely Why does JB need to clarify every last thing he does? Elon Musk also tweeted that he found it interesting. Do you think anyone at Twitter or Tesla gives a sh!t!? Of course not. Andrew Tate is clearly a divisive character, but most of the rhetoric surrounding him is either taken out of context, factually incorrect or ignoring the fact that part of his business model is to get views etc. There is a clip where he tells people to shun anyone that doesn’t like Sparkling Water. Very deliberately to get views, grow a following and monetise it. Blokes likely a knob but plays the game very well. |

We seem to do fine signing players so I don’t think Barton’s reputation is scaring them off |
