My understanding is the new investors will have a controlling share of 51% leaving Wael with 49%.
Before you ask, I am not going to say who told me this but it was a very prominent figure at the club in response to me asking what's the point in promotion as we will not be able to compete, I was told we will, because of the new investment.
I was told this at the players award dinner but was reluctant to share until there was proof (I have been checking companies house for any updates) but now others appear to be aware of it I may as well back it up with what I was told

I don't know the ins and outs of the relationship between this company and its ownerships of Bristol Rovers, but the share split action above very much looks like the action that would be taken to create shares for raising equity finance.
