This is why your wife gets mad at you. The non signing of JCH and focus on the rest of the team are mutually exclusive. We can focus on the team and the months ahead without the 'spearhead' that JB mentioned. AND at the same time, we can question the running of the club and the CEO with respect to missing a tranfer day deadline. I'm not saying not to question things but none of us know what went on. I don't see the point in going over and over it, what is it going to change? I'm happy a new stand is going up and that we have seen such a big investment in the team. It's an optimistic time to be a Gashead. The South Stand is a bitter sweet pill. Of course, we all love the fact that the tents are being removed and our capacity will increase. However, the arrogance show to both the local residents and the local council and the team that looks after all our safety is pretty shocking. |

You are very lucky (though now come to think maybe unlucky) that you have a row with your wife when she is not mad... You're right, I am lost now. Does she or does she not get mad when you have a row. Are you lucky or unlucky when you have a row and she does or doesn't get mad...? |

You are right, only the people involved know why this happened. The thread has continued because it's sh** that we didn't sign the spearhead to our team. He could have got injured in the 1st game he played for us. He could have got a hattrick in each home game between now and Christmas. What I can tell you for certain is that we won't be seeing him play for Rovers until 2024 if we do at all and that does make me sad. I am a saddo that our performance on a Saturday has a big impact on how I feel for the rest of the week. I know, its wrong and I should seek counselling. Maybe, just maybe I am not on my own here. Which is why the thread was full of anticipation and then devastation. |
