Interesting…. Doesn’t obviously imply we’re in the hunt but certainly gives the impression. Unless we’re calling up asking about if we’re getting a sell on or if there’s another Tom Nichols kicking around for us to sign. |

He's not signing... a champ club will take a punt Think we would be better off getting on the phone to Boro trying to persuade them that the best thing for Coburn’s development is to see if he can maintain form for the whole season at a promotion chasing L1 club rather than getting the odd five minute cameo off the bench at championship level when the game is already won or lost. I read somewhere this morning that Coburn is going to Plymouth for the season. |

Fair question! his scoring record would seem to make it a no brainer , for whatever reason his goals did not bring promotion though, why i don't know, you could argue that they should have done. I have always believed that one of the key ingredients ,if not the KEY, to any team being successful is the ambience within the dressing room and i do not believe JCH would be a positive influence in that respect, in fact i fear the opposite would be true , of course i may be wrong it's just my opinion and gut feeling, most on here would not agree which is understandable and absolutely fine, so there you go. |

Could just as easily mean that a rovers player is identified as one of the five options to replace either Edwards or Clarke-Harris and so he anticipates they may be calling us should an acceptable bid come in for one of them. |

His goals did bring a promotion though...during the 20/21 season when he scored 31 league goals to win the golden boot and named the EFL League One Player of the Year and in the PFA and EFL Teams of the Year |
