Armstrong’s stats are OK, but I’ve seen him about 5 times (I live in Yorkshire) and he’s been terrible each time I’ve seen him. I wouldn’t describe him as strong or quick based on what I’ve seen. He’s a big presence but I didn’t ever see him do anything particularly productive. Fair play, he might be better than what I’ve seen. Harrogate have been rubbish every time we’ve seen them (including against us) so I think we’re just an unlucky charm! A shame as it’s a nice old style ground and the atmosphere is OK there despite crowds rarely getting much above 2000. |

Unless I misheard him I'm sure Mangan suggested in his pre match talk yesterday that there'll be a few more signings, and also players leaving, before deadline day.
Yesterday's day highlighted we need another center forward.

Loft surprised last year for a while Think he’s one of the players most underrated by the fans. He did better than I thought he would in L1 but my expectations were low. Would be a good signing for a L2 side looking to try and go up. |

Looking at yesterday highlights too slow and miles away from play unless it's around the penalty box. Can't see him fitting into a fluid high press forward line.

Not sure about JCH returning or not.
However ,looking at the squad yesterday it was clear there was no replacement for Marquis. So should suspension, injury ,loss of form or just to freshen up a match there is no obvious like for like player currently.
So its clear we do need an additional front player (if Ryan Loft isnt being considered by the management).
So i do expect a loan signing (most likely) or a perm signing to join the squad in the next week or so.

Wael replied to a JCH related tweet in a tongue in cheek way, but would you respond at all if beyond the realm of possibility? Peterborough chairman has confirmed 3 teams are in for him, girlfriend lives in Bristol, Barton previously publicly praised which is unusual for him, nothing concrete though!! |
