Contained in the season ticket delivery is a statement from Wael.
It informs fans that the club are applying for Academy Cat 2 status for this season and will at the end of this season review whether to upgrade. Along with works at The Quarters with this in view.

Is the Teds academy level 2 ? It is Yes, I think the League they play in now is called the Profesional Developent league. They Finished 2nd to Millwall last year, but you play against the likes of QPR, Reading, Ipswich, Watford, Charlton, Cardiff and Swansea Oh and Colchester! a Good Test! |

It’s 2 hours from Almondsbury to London on a straight run by road. I regularly drive that route. On a donkey perhaps....haha. Times have changed im sure . Used to take me an hour and a half many years ago. |

I dont think there will be any rush for that Pirate, Rovers Academy are now training out of Wise academy in Filton (ish). They already have an indoor facility and a great standard of Grass Pitches. The Teds Academy had been Based there for the last 8 years but have now moved to the HPC and they had Category 2 whilst training and playing there Games programme there, so there should be no issue with us not getting through on the basis of Facilities and standard of Pitches. |
