Not the story I was told…and certainly not the story of the people that had to deal with the ticketing fiasco either. Not one I was told either Trouble is the truth will probably never come out I’m not surprised he is gone.

Ah, Bouncing Back, cracking read. It really resonated with me. Because people do bounce back, Dennis Hopper, Rolf Harris, there are others........ Havent read it but the only place Rolf bounced to was jail. Haven't heard of him since. It's a very good book, although certainly not Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNab which actually improves with every read.

That Bendac must be a big company, they have a massive 193 followers on Twitter. Just to put that into perspective - I have 172 followers and I've not even posted for almost 5 years. 🤣 They won't necessesarily have a big social media presence due to the business they are involved in. My son had a tour of their headquarters, and was very impressed. They manufacture, provide and install giant screens, they've recently fitted new screens at Stamford Bridge, and have been involved in other sports stadiums, in the UK and abroad. They've also invented a screen which is so much easier for presenters to use than the traditional green screen used in tv productions. They provide large, portable, high standard screens for training events, and also do the giant screens for stadium concerts. It isn't always about the number of followers on social media which shows the profile of the business. I think it's kinda great, in a laughable way - that when we had a big screen installed it didn't work and ended up having black panels all over it, and our guy ends up getting poached for a company that provides big screens. Someone's made a bad move there 🤣

Bravo Two Zero, and The One that got away! 2 amazing stories I read as a small child that ended up with me going into the forces 🙏

Who would watch TV when they can read a book which has been described as, and I quote, “lovely stuff” Not my words Gastafari, the words of Shakin’ Stevens. Ah, Bouncing Back, cracking read. It really resonated with me. Because people do bounce back, Dennis Hopper, Rolf Harris, there are others........ Mr B Oddie?

Both very good at the time, but it later dawned on me why there were contradictions between them. His first novel, Remote Control, was a brilliant read.

Both very good at the time, but it later dawned on me why there were contradictions between them. His first novel, Remote Control, was a brilliant read. Judging by the way McNab, Ratcliffe and Coburn rounded on Ryan after he published his book says to me that he took some poetic licence and actually discredited Phillips, who’s sadly no longer here to tell the tale. Micheal Asher seems to confirm it too if you ever read his investigative book into the compromised mission. I’ve just bought Bravo Three Zero, the other unit that was dropped but got away. That will be an interesting read. I agree with you about McNabs non fiction writing. I’ve read the whole Nick Stone books and each one was excellent. Red Notice, which was made into a film was also decent.

That screen definitely didn't come from Bendac. Why do people think he was poached from us, maybe he was, I just haven't seen anything to suggest that.
