I have a horrible gut feel that this is going to turn into another Sainsbury’s type saga. Would the council allow what seems to be a simple replacement stand, go to a judicial review, really ? This is why KP once we know the who's who list of committee members . We can write and pressure them. Also we can write to MPs and ask them to review the process. Although the Greens can legitimacy represent the BS3 task force. They simply cannot use delay tactics to cause delay. This is why we have elected representatives of all parties voting. Historically: Labour and Tories have always voted in favour . So get on to your MPs and councillors and ask them : what's going on ?. And can they support this application ?. Play the lobbyists at their own game: I am !. In this case i am, for once, ahead of the curve and have sent out e-mails to all that i could find, who could have anything to do with this. Yes, it was, near enough, the same e-mail but just with a few words changed and maybe a short paragraph added or taken away but it is simple, the hardest part is looking up who is able to help and that is only a quick web search away. My only concern is did we actually do any work that would have come under the PP, before anything was granted because, if we’d have then i can see that being a problem.

You see no correlation between Rovers form and court cases/off field distractions? Suggest you look again. Or have one of your servants look for you. Not really, the squad has played well on the pitch no matter what with Barton at the helm. You got some link to that not being the case? I’m so confused by this view. The form since Christmas has been relegation and that’s undeniable.

Maybe the new person will reinstate cash sales. Must miss out on some sales and at present still legal tender.stalls were quite happy to take cash so why miss out at the club bars Don't talk so much sense! Mods.... ban please.... Betty's talking too much sense. Cash is still used in 99% of the world outside the Mem, but some donut decided to take away choice from their own customer base, meaning some have never returned!

There are lots of stadiums and venues that are cashless and this will only continue to grow. However "As people move toward more electronic or digital forms of payment, it might seem like paper money is on its way toward obsolescence. But experts say that cash will always be around."

David Bright sacked from Rovers with possibly Gorringe about to follow too and presumeably Barton under review These new owners want their own men apparently. Big changes at the club. F in hope so. Stop teasing me, hb! Um has anyone asked what the problem was with previous incumbent and how DB was steamrolled in without advertising the post? Just asking... Now that is a very interesting question. I’d love to hear the answer but it will never happen as it will be viewed as irrelevant

17th last season had nothing to do with any of that. We were safe, started changing players around, didn't make any difference. We were challenging or have you forgotten Bellygate ?

Choice..... what's wrong with giving your customer base freedom to choose?

Don't like to see anybody lose their job, and I'm sure he'll get fixed up with something which is a better fit for him. However, regardless of his sales experience, he came with a certain reputation, and did nothing to dispell it. Oh well he can always apply for wrongful dismissal.... Naughty boy

Why have a pop at Pete because he's from Blackburn? When has he "pretended" to be "lifelong" Gas? He does a very good job, I don't care if he supports his hometown club - it doesn't detract from his approach to his job at Rovers. I'm sure that all employees support the club, and form some attachments (if they are here long enough). I'm not on about Pete, he's sound. I'm on about the Terrace bloke. David Sams fella

I’m so confused by this view. The form since Christmas has been relegation and that’s undeniable. Since Christmas? How did we stay up then? Gasdust is correct, we only won 19 points in 22 games from Xmas Day, extrapolate across the season and that's about 39/40 points which is relegation form

Nothing wrong in choice but handling cash costs the club money and it is cheaper for them to go cashless (I am not personally saying it is right or wrong)

I have contacted the Labour MPs at the highest level locally and am awaiting instructions on the development committee contacts I expect it could be Fabian. If a small bit of work was started then the club did the right thing in halting work. It is working closely now with the locals in overcoming any issues. The point is there is a determination date and pressure groups shouldn't be able to use delay tactics. If so every cacus / pressure group will be delaying things . We need to ask MPs / councillors to monitor the legal process and make sure it is working fairly. That is a question we should be seeking. It's for cross parties to make a democratic decision not one group!.
