Anyone know why he didn't hardly play for Hull?? I know it was in the championship, but he barely got a look in.
Hopefully he will do better than Charlie Colkett. He was highly rated and played for England youth.
Sometimes technically good players, don't make the breakthrough in senior football.

I'd imagine this is a Collins replacement if he goes. Not bothered if he goes or not to be honest. One of the most frustrating rovers players I've seen.

Sounds like it could be another very good loan signing if it goes through. Agree with those saying we need another DCM although based on today i think I'd play Evans there ahead of Finley on Tues assuming nobody comes in beforehand

Evans is a different player when he has to play deeper and doesnt offer anything there

Is this kid a winger or a CM then chaps - one for Pirate perhaps ! Watched him quite a few times in the past and he certainly offers versatility. This summer for the England U20's he mostly played wide left of the 4 in a 3-4-2-1 formation, but I've seen him play as an advanced midfielder in the 2 behind the striker in similar formation and can also do a job from the right cutting in on his left foot. A good fluid option for the way we want to play and should slot in nicely in a couple of positions. A goal and assist threat and can take a decent freekick.

Arveladze signed him as an 18-year-old in his first loan, then he had caretaker Andy Dawson for a bit, before Rosenior took over. He also suffered a niggly groin injury that forced him to miss a few games. When Rosenior took over he decided he wasn't part of his plans moving forward and allowed him to return to Chelsea early.

I rate him very highly. Already played for Chelsea's 1st team under Thomas Tuchel. Was named in the Uefa U19's European Championships team of the tournament along with Matthew Cox, Jarrel Quansah and City's former player Alex Scott, which England went on to win. He could be another masterstroke loan like Elliot Anderson. Captained that England U19 side and is now captain of the U20s in a side also containing the likes of his £20million Chelsea teammate Carney Chukwuemeka.

I think with some of the players recruited by Joey this summer he might eventually be looking at going with a 3-4-3/3-4-2-1 sort of formation or variant of, with Vale providing an extra option for the left of the 4 in an attacking wing back sort of role, but his versatility means he can slot in anywhere in the attacking 3 behind the CF if we wanted to go with a 4-2-3-1 for example. Harvey Vale (if he signs), Aaron Collins, Luke Thomas, Jevani Brown, Antony Evans, John Marquis etc and maybe even another CF would be intriguing options going forward and I'm excited to see how it all plays out. Could be fun to watch.

Looks to me like you’re bang on about this with the squad we are building, however surely you’d want to get the shape work done in pre-season?

We've not played with 3 at the back all pre-season?

More than likely been working on 2 or 3 formations in training, but I didn't see all the pre-season games so can't comment on the shape in those. I think Joey will want us to be flexible tactically and able to fluidly switch in game between a few formations.
