Sounds like it could be another very good loan signing if it goes through. Agree with those saying we need another DCM although based on today i think I'd play Evans there ahead of Finley on Tues assuming nobody comes in beforehand No. Evans was a dream today is his best position of AM/no10 I'd absolutely agree that the 10 role is his best position but having Finley & Ward as currently the only 2 options worries me slightly. I thought Finley was off the pace a bit yesterday especially early on and got caught in possession more than once. Evans deeper whilst not ideal is an option if Brown is fit, we sign Vale or want to start Sinclair |

What a fantastic loan signing, Harvey Vale has a tremendous back catalogue, played through all the England levels, been in and around the Chelsea first team, a great addition as an attacking midfielder, really hope this deal goes through.

Doesn’t seem to be very quick (on some quick YouTube search!) this system has the idea to try and get players one on one but surely we need quick wingers in order to do this ?

Joe has wanted to play 3 at the back from day one. Tried and failed several times. We just didnt have the players capable of doing it well enough.
After the window close we may have a squad able to do it (?)
Wilson,Taylor,Crama back 3 might work.
With Hoole ,Connelly and Friend as back up (?)
3-4-3
Or
3-4-1-2
Or
3-4-2-1
Or
3-2-4-1
Or
3-1-4-2
Plenty of options.

We really are building something 👍🏾 not only will the bench have quality but also the ones who don't make the matchday squad. But how will we keep so many players happy, it sounds like Belshaw has already thrown a strop because he's not starting? I think we missed a trick not playing a few of the fring players on Wednesday, as I doubt we were ever going to win the tie. |

No reason for the club to say anything today. It’s been reported that the lad was at the match yesterday with his family etc. Don’t think it’s asking a lot to wait a couple of days and see if the loan deal comes to fruition. |

JB says a lot then seems to quietly forgot about what he's said, I'm pretty certain he would have tried the new formation in some of the pre-season games if he intended using this season, yesterday seemed perfect to switch to 3 at the back in the second half but we still stuck with 4 defenders. JB seems to, fortunately, have given up moving Hoole from RB. |

They now see things as a squad game and the majority seem to accept that's the way it is these days. |

He isn't rapid, but at the same time he isn't slow either. What he does have is decent range of passing and decent delivery into dangerous areas.    |

They now see things as a squad game and the majority seem to accept that's the way it is these days. Not sure lower league or Premiership youngsters will see it that way? Let's see if McCormick is content to sit on the bench or even in the stands for the rest of the season. |

He isn't rapid, but at the same time he isn't slow either. What he does have is decent range of passing and decent delivery into dangerous areas. Thomas on one wing and Vale on the other wing should be interesting, then when one of them starts to tire we bring on Sinclair! |
