On Sam Frost's last day at the Mem i asked him about his relationship with JB as it seemed to me slightly frosty since the alleged mole in the camp. Sam told me that he found JB fairly straight forward and that he quite liked him. He even got his head shaved with everyone at the Nick Anderton event.

Does anyone really bother reading anything rovers related from the Bristol Post anyway, I know I don't. Times have changed, there are other quicker more informative channels to get a rovers fix these days.

Disappointed I won't be able to read content from him on there but not surprised in the slightest. The papers an absolute joke. I've emailed the editor several times to tell them as such with regards there blatant bias and never had the courtesy of a reply.
Their content all comes from social media they are not in the know in the slightest.

Support Joey on this one, I don’t even think they’re biased to City, they give both clubs poor coverage.

Bristol World copy Bristol Live's articles and BBC News print an article about once a week, there are no local news sites regularly publishing Rovers related articles. The national press can't stand us because of who we appointed as manager. I can't see I've ever felt the match reporting etc was biased and the club hasn't helped itself as far as the stand is concerned.

"3 cheers for Bristol Rovers managing to sign somebody that isn’t a convicted scumbag."

So many more media outlets out there that won't treat the club as a page filler.

Never good to adopt a bunker mentality. Wael did the same a little while back and now he's sold up to someone else. It's usually a sign that all is not well in an organisation.

Strikes me as Barton wanting to foster a bunker mentality, us against the world . Not against that but what’s the merit for it … apart from them being shithead biased as they’ve been since the year dot.

I used to actually like The Green Un, read it quite a bit, must've been late 90's, early 2000's last time I read it though. Think it was named after the Newsprint it used to be printed on.

Not the paper it once was, can't say I blame him. Feel sorry for the new lad starting out, though.

Does anybody disagree with Barton's comment? We've complained for years that it's not balanced. When they covered Scott Murray presenting the Mansfield goalscorer with a bottle of champagne it was cringeworthy. Their coverage of us post-Taylor to City was biased. Also Barton deals with them day to day, we only see the output. In a week or two JB will be speaking to the Post again only from then on the coverage will be a lot more pro-Rovers. Game won
