3 of Wickham's 9 goals for FGR were against South Shields and Alvechurch. He only scored 6 in L1 and only 1 in 12 for Cardiff. Not saying he couldn't do a job but he's no JCH. Anyone know why Lyle Taylor hasn't played since May 2022 according to Soccerbase? Andre Gray would be decent but doubt he'd drop to L1. Of course no JCH but from April 1st to May 9th . He played in 8 of Cardiff s last 9 games at championship level . Also we need a target man to bring Collins Sinclair Thomas Brown into play. You can't have 4 attackers under 5 10inchs in division one. I believe a Beadle style player will bring these quality players into games / goals. |

Please not 100 pages of more signing nonsense.....
Was told on Saturday from a very decent source that JB would probably not be going after JCH in January - after all the tripe of last week I sense there is a breakdown of trust now.

He still scored over a goal per 3 games, in a side that was bottom of the league. |

I would give him a deal as well, if he's interested, but motivation could be a problem for him. He's still not signed for anyone yet this season and he was a free agent twice last season. He doesn't seem bothered, if he doesn't have a club for a few weeks/months. |

Agree! not quite good enough for championship but wages too high for most division one clubs ( unless short term loan). Sign him for 16 weeks then re-evaluate. |

Connor Wickham
Chris Martin
Personally would love any of Andre Gray, Lyle Taylor or Connor Wickham but not so sure on the other two....

I would give him a deal as well, if he's interested, but motivation could be a problem for him. He's still not signed for anyone yet this season and he was a free agent twice last season. He doesn't seem bothered, if he doesn't have a club for a few weeks/months. As I said before he creates goals out of nothing, which is ideal considering we just create nothing |

His last 2 clubs (FGR & Cardiff) both in this area which could work in our favour. |

CW does not train during the week just puts his boots on for a Saturday, definitely the case at FGR, certainly a NO for me ! I find that hard to believe when he featured in every Cardiff game at championship level for the last six weeks. He lead the line at Burnley in May . |
