Surprised FGR beat Shrewsbury- must of had a poor side out. Hopefully same side that plays us next

Cheltenham were atrocious but you can only beat what's in front of you. Thought at times we looked very good makes such a difference when we move the ball quickly and have players prepared to carry the ball at pace. Collins scoring possibly the most important thing too come out of tonight. Minutes for some of those that haven't played as much as well. Nice little break now, will be interesting too see if we look to bring in a no9 or go with what we have

Does this MDT count? Be nice to get on a winning run.
Woods sounds like just what we have needed.

A positive result, shame we couldn’t keep a clean sheet. Think a few of the lads could do with the weekend off, time to regroup and get back to winning ways in the league.

I realy thought we'd run up a cricket score in that 1st half. Second half Cheltenham played a bit more ,which wasn't difficult .
Gibbons og was a cracker lbh , must be contender for og of the season
No reason to think we cant win this illustrious , wonderful trophy...just hope JB feels the same.

Albeit against a really poor Cheltenham side, that was an enjoyable watch. Lots of positives; Bogarde was the best player on the pitch, the way he receives the ball on the half turn and the occasional drop of the shoulder was top class. Sadly, and been thinking it a while now, I like Marquis but his legs really don’t do what he wants and needs them to do. If they did he would still be a class no. 9 in this team. We need a free transfer no.9 asap!!!!
Great night and Collins will start to pick up form now just need a few more going in off his knee etc. Woods looks like he is an intelligent footballer and another leader amongst the group, despite his strange running style, every touch he made tonight was intended and executed.
Vale looked again to take up some brilliant positions when in possession at left back and will be useful in that role if we are sadly chasing a game.
Hate a weekend without the gas. But yet more encouraging signs of some fantastic players. UTG

I think in terms of hold up play alone, I agree with you, but in front of goal his feet do not seem quick enough. He’s scuppered a handful of half chances like the one that came across the 6 yard box tonight and when he rounded the keeper at 0-0 against Cambridge. I really hope he can prove me wrong.

I know Cheltenham have had a poor start, but you can only beat what’s in front of you & apart from conceding an OG, that was a commanding performance from the whole team tonight. Some of the build up play was a joy to watch & it was great to see us able to cut through an opposition defence at will. Great to see us at last score a few goals , especially Aaron who had by his standards had a quiet start to the season, shame Marquis & Sinclair had goals disallowed, as the build up play for both was quality. Bogarde was IMO the stand out performer on the night, hopefully he’s going to have a great season with us & I’am sure he’s got a big future in the game ahead of him.
