So Wilson could be out Saturday too. Joey left himself like last season with on one CB fit to play. Very very worrying. Completely his own fault. There was no reason to loan out Connolly in the first place. Tristan Crama ? |

he only just got here. Wouldn’t the logical thing be to pair him with Taylor again? Because you know they played together for a season already….I fail to see the logic in that one. Strange comment, please explain. He was supposed to be our star signing last summer. It didn’t go that wel. But then we signed his partner and then got rid of him. We replaced him with his partner. Seems dumb to me. There is no consistency within any of these teams, players just keep randomly disappearing or random new players like Crama turn up and vanish again. Consistency is key he should have gone with Taylor and Connolly again. Now we have to waste another season whilst the players get to know each other. |

Always felt uneasy about us loaning a CB out for the season when we only had four out-and-out CBs in the squad. Can’t be many teams in the EFL who opted to go into the season with three CBs - seems unnecessarily risky. I know we’ve got players like Hoole, Gibbons and Friend who CAN fill in there, but only really in a back 3, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to be using that system this season . |

Seemed rovers played like a training session for most of the game. WHU21 were full of energy and up for the game and deserved their win. Sad upshots from the game. Belshaw,Hoole,Gibbons definitely not good enough. Need to look to move them on over the coming year. Gordon needs to up his game. Brown is not and never will be a front of the line striker. Vale should have stood out as was playing his own level of player and is supposedly a star in the making.He didnt. Overall , just tired out some legs before the Wigan game and got hammered by a kids team. Embarrassing. Hoole was out of position. Should not be moved on. Maybe his manager needs to learn! Agree that gibbons and Belshaw are not good enough and Grant probably ahead of Gordon for LB now too hoole himself has said he thinks his future is as a centre half. |

How much longer do we give Barton with our shocking home performances? Yea we won the other day but with the backing he’s had we should be top six. None of our players are kids they were all signed to be first team players originally. We can call it our reserves but most of those players do spend time in the starting 11. Jevani brown not worth damaging our clubs reputation over. Collins wasted out wide. Trying to not over react but that was so embarrassing. 😆 |

Perhaps Connolly forced through the move as he wanted to get some game time? Perhaps we now need to look at the out of contract CB's rather than CF's. he only just got here. Mate of mine is a Chelsea fan and he was telling me they’re frustrated over the scattergun transfers that they’ve made in the last year without any real plan other than on match days it’s to keep the ball which they do really well but they’re mid table and rarely play football that actually excites their fans or scores goals. I think your average league 1 manager would get a tune out of these players but Barton is a troubled soul who’s mind races and he can’t settle in to many things in an organised way. I think he’s built the best squad we’ve had probably since Holloway was manager but the jury is out whether he can get them in to some kind of attacking threat. Personally I find the style of play very similar to Garners which is hilarious in a hypocrisy kind of way considering what he said about Garner when he came to the club. I’ve got no idea how our season is going to go as I’ve got no idea what Barton is trying to achieve watching us play we look so disjointed and lacking in ideas , either he’s a genius or he’s tactically stupid or he’s mad and about to fail or a combination of all of these things I dunno but he’s definitely mad. |

A disappointing result.
First half performance reasonable.
Should have scored more than one goal.
Second half WHU the better side.
Defeat is down to poor decision making by individuals.
Their keeper had magnets in his gloves.
Probably need to win at Newport on 14/11 to progress now.
