Not going to read the whole thread in case anyone has said anything negative, because we were absolutely magnificent today and any one of the 11 starters could have been MOTM.

Latics fans on there forum in meltdown, apparently we are a bang average team and they today' played in such a way that we looked like Brazil.

That's the best gas performance since the Scunthorpe massacre that. Considering the makeshift backline we had absolutely magnificent every single one of them.
Hard to single anyone out but Jack hunt. What a signing he is. A massive threat everytime he goes forward and so so solid at the back.

I don’t think there’s that many JB haters on here to be honest. I mean people occasionally complain about certain things I for one have been quite vocal on here about how I think we don’t play well when we move the ball slowly around our back four and I think we’re really good when we’re quicker and more direct but that doesn’t make me a hater it means I’ve got an opinion. Also at the ground the majority seem to fairly like Barton and feel he’s done quite well as our manager. When I think of some of the managers we’ve had in recent times and some poor runs weve been on there’s often been a toxic atmosphere on here and in the ground but I’ve yet to really feel that since Barton has been here. |

Yeah the further forward he plays the better he plays, at times today he swapped with Thomas and was playing right side of attack and Thomas right centre midfield , the Wigan players didn’t know who to pick up and we caused them all kinds of problems. |

There certainly is some quality in this squad Considering we were without Wilson, Ward & Cramer, it’s really beginning to show how much better this squad is compared to last season, especially when there’s plenty of quality on the bench to bring on, onwards & upwards. |

Interesting after the match when you consider some of the comments when the lineups are announced.
The game could have swung either way at 1-1 and they were dangerous and fluid moving forwards.
Our tip tap almost backfired a number of times but fortunately we had a great game with 8s all over the pitch.

That was the best home performance I’ve seen in ages and in terms of the quality of the football, we haven’t seen that since Holloway. I would say to any young rovers fans, when your dad or your brother or uncle went on about that era - behold, you just saw a rovers team about the same standard 👍
