Seams that way š 27 posts in 24 hrs and nearly all lambasting Barton. Iām starting to get the feeling Roadman doesnāt like him . No I donāt and this weekend was the final straw. Iām good with it all, perhaps my 27 posts should have been over 3 months, Iām done now, think Iāve proved he doesnāt really care that much about charity. I applaud real heroās like Weeksy and Belsten, Ā£35,000 the later gave the community trust, he could be bothered and thatās the difference. The problem with me is I back up my posts with FACTS and I will defend my point with evidence. That company should be called "Joey Barton Lack of Promotion Ltd". |

Probably ignored his table at some Rovers do, so he's missing out on being able to post "when JB came over to table....." I will be hanging around Equaliser and Iām far from an aggressive character, Iām actually a very happy person, my only failing at times is I like the banter and wind up a bit too much. Look at what I replied too?ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦.Topper as usual, every time has to get personal, itās Lee Johnson or Corona Gate or something along those lines so I will reply and have the right to defend myself donāt I?
This gist of this thread is the Gaffer is a hero, heās stopped his subscription but letās all pat him on the back for helping Nick Anderton in the first place.
* JB came out and promoted his pay wall subs service on the back of charity and Nick Anderton
* JB started this money making exercise and has done it for 2 months
* Posters defend JB, some go to the lengths of saying you canāt blame him as heād have to set up an LTD to get a bank account
* Personally I provide information and evidence how you can set up a Stripe Account in minutes and just point out he canāt be bothered to do it and the charity obviously doesnāt mean that much to him.
* Whilst providing my information, I disclose JB is a director of 5/6 LTD, an argument/defence for him not setting up a bank account.
I am not obsessed with him, I openly admit I donāt like him as a person. But I also donāt like injustice and bullies in life, I also donāt like people who make bold claims and take the praise for these and donāt carry out their promises.
I hope we win tonight, and will be doing my 200 mile round trip, I donāt support Joey Barton, I support Bristol Rovers.

I would have assumed so, but given he has stated he has paid for some staff out of his own pocket I do wonder if it is all done thru a limited company. |

I don't even believe it was for NA.
His original post was something about getting info from one of the best in the game, getting 1:1 coaching etc. More likely is it nosedived, got about 50 subscribers, plus he got some sh*t for it, so he came up with the NA thing to deflect the criticism, then shut the service down when it didn't take off and his ego had taken a massive hit as a result.
I mean, if he really was doing it for NA, why not:
1) Better publicise it
2) Continue with it

If JB had personally carried out the surgery that saved Nickās life the same people on here would find a way to criticise him for it. Not worth arguing with them. At the same time, if JB stubbed a cigar out in Nicks face some people on here would excuse it |
