Sorry if I’ve missed it but I assume it’s been mentioned that he tweeted he couldn’t be arsed to set up a bank account which means in essence, he couldn’t be bothered to do it for Nick Anderton which he said it was for. I mean if 10 people had signed up, that would have been £100 a month for Nick, it all adds up? One other thing that came to mind Saturday, he mentioned he’d speak to the CEO if he could fine Thomas to reimburse the away fans. He’s often said and tweeted he’s very wealthy, I was thinking, 500 fans, £20 average a head, based on OAP’s and kids, £10,000, why doesn’t he refund us? Biggest Banned word manager we’ve ever had. To everyone who subscribed, thank you. I’ve decided not to continue this as I cannot be bothered setting up a bank account with Stipe etc that monetised content requires. Thanks for subscribing. 👍 What is the process to set up an account with Stipe? Why would the manager reimburse if he is pinning blame on a players performance? Banned word? If every player who made a mistake was fined and the fans reimbursed for it, the PFA would have an army of a HR team.
How many sending offs are there a week?
What about him not being able to manage the side and banned from grounds because of his behaviour, are we reimbursed because the proper manager isn’t on hand to manage the side?
Sam Finley, our biggest serial yellow card offender, who can’t tackle after the 15th minute and always dragged off to protect him from a red, are we reimbursed for this?
Back to his charity fund for Nick Anderton, I’m gutted for the lad he’s missed out on a valuable contribution to his home because of a form filling out exercise.

You just beat me to it , exactly what I was goin to say . A massive over reaction from JB , and one that is making him look stupid. Yes silly boy Luke , and he definatly feels the hammy as he turns , so may have stopped the second . But reimbursed? Most gasheads would probably tell you Sats game was ok , we could have drawn it . Reimbursed would be that Exeter fiasco the other year, cant remember the score , I lost count . Did JB offer one then , thought not.

Spot on Quarters, he took over and we were 4 points above relegation, today with the biggest budget in the clubs history, with a 10 man plus management team included, we are 6 points above relegation.
Talking up a Div1 promotion from relegation to Div2 seems to be an Oscar for some.

4 interesting looking games coming up, 3 potentially winnable and the 4th against a team we've usually beaten in recent seasons. If we fail to win more than 1 of those you'd imagine the owners will be thinking about whether JB is the right man for the job, although Wael will still probably have the biggest say on that decision.

Barton has said and tweeted some daft things over the past few weeks. The whole paywall/not paywall thing is bizarre. Of course he won't really ask the CEO to reimburse the fans from Luke Thomas' wages, it's just a daft thing to say in the heat of the moment. But you can't knock his charity work for Nick Anderton, he's done a hell of a lot and it doesn't get the level of publicity his post-match comments do.

X collected 2 months worth of payments from subscribers so the money's somewhere between X & JB? If JB's not now getting the subs then X need to return it to their customers. I doubt you can set up a Subscription service without a Stripe account anyway, given X's T&C's "You must connect a verified Stripe account." |
