Strange thing to post on the KP IT Support thread...oh, just checked the title, apologies...I was confused š¤£ Really surprised that the full time critics haven't picked on the Facebook Ad released via the official club feed yesterday. heavily promoting Sainsburys with Hal Robson Kanu urging us to shop for his product in Sainsburys. At least the product is a lot more healthy than the usual ads for sugar filled 'energy' drinks. Been obvious for a while, the person controlling Rovers' social media is braindead... |

We've no idea who's really behind the GB account?
I don't understand what just a random fan achieves from retweeting everything Rovers related tweet and also giving live match updates for virtually every game. When you can already get all that from just following the club's official X account.

Absolutely no idea at all, i do feel that anyone employed by the club should do the right thing and learn about the history of our club though. On a side note, Turmeric saved my chocolate lab from cancer, teaspoon a day with olive oil and black pepper and she is still going at 13 after given 3 months by the vet when she was 4, so at least Kanu is promoting something of benefit, only Rovers could give Sainsburys free advertising after the way they treated the club. |

I have a somewhat related question to the OP. Has anyone else considered that current events in the Middle East might indirectly affect our owners and their relationship with a western country? I know that our fan base is not like Spurs, but I bet Chelski supporters didnāt foresee Abramovichās hasty departure owing to events outside his control. Discuss.

The west liberated Kuwait and it too has good relations with the west. I donāt think in a million years these countries are joining in an armed conflict against Isreal. Kuwait is about the most liberal gulf state. |

Well he did today and I have to say I was enthused by his interview.
Seems like a man with a plan and sounded much more convincing than Wael ever did.
Really like how he wants structure and continuity at the club!!

Think they should have given Barton more time but other than that thought interview was good, handled himself well and pointed out that lack of info will usually be due to lack of concrete Updates. Better that than laeaking/promising things that wonāt happen |

Nice to finally hear from our owner and yes on the whole sounded positive.
I'm just really confused by our vision though.....
So the mem which we've been told time and time again isn't commercially viable but will now become a 16k stadium.
How will that generate enough revenue to allow us to progress?
I guess it could take you to the champ and then see what happens from there is the vision ?
I'd have liked to learn a bit more about why the mem is now viable.
