No Toppergas he did not fail this season. The owners failed him This season lasts until May and I am still convinced he would have turned it around But lets forget that now and just get behind the new man. Rubbish since the turn of the year. Correct decision to let him go and get a proper leader in. Bit harsh. We're having a mediocre season with a load of new players brought in. According to insiders, the club was as professional as its ever been under JB. As for letting him go. Did that happen? It looks to me like he walked and who could blame him? The club is still run amateurishly and I'd imagine that's a frustration for somebody of his footballing calibre. Hopefully everybody gets behind the new gaffer, but labelling him as a proper leader will quickly unravel on here if he doesn't get the team ticking. |

Personally I don't think we have as good a squad as has been made out. I also take what Taylor has said about it being a good squad with a pinch of salt?. It wouldn't surprise me to see quite a bit of movement in the next window. Personally think there's half a dozen players there that if we are to challenge aren't good enough for what we want.

It's a theme of every podcast he does, forms part of his story as the underdog from Huyton and he would have dined out on turning little Bristol Rovers into a championship outfit. 100% he didnt quit. |

A Joey fan, but accept he did not manage well this season. Fell out with the BP, threw Thomas under a bus and didn’t get enough points. Comments about Steve Evans were rude and stupid.
We’ve had 40+ managers in our history so time to move on. Really hope Matt Taylor can replicate the success and style of play he achieved at Exeter City. UTG
