Funny the outroar that because I call our thankfully ex manager a w**ker I’m a horrible person. But the thankfully ex manager who beats his wife, stubs cigars in youngsters eyes, among many other things is a god who you all jack off too. I don’t care what any of you think about my posts. Don’t like it don’t reply (as you all told me often enough about my dislike for Barton) like I said, you're not a very nice human being, you telling me not to reply but you have replied to a thankyou Joey thread, WHY? Leave your nasty comments to the other thread, in all the years I have supported Rovers I have never come across a person like you. Vile! So bad of me!! How dare I forget to thank Gary Thompson for taking us to Derby and knocking out a Premiership team in the FA cup! Let’s also thank Holloway for the 5th round FA cup at Barnsley and Trollope for the Quarter Finals in the FA Cup as well. Best Mem squad ever someone said today, that said blokes in Georgia looking for rigged election voting slips still today 😂 *Lymstone, I’m not too worried you are embarrassed for me, I’m embarrassed by some of our fans, making out he was some messiah! The OTIB think we are embarrassing, I mean who sets up a CHANGE.org campaign to bring Barton back. It's really grating on you the support he's getting isn't it 😂. It's clear as day apart from the new owners no one wanted him gone yet. Just keep your cool roadman the majority of fans and players and staff at the club will move on eventually but it's going to take time. When he took over we were 18th. We went down. He got us back up. Phew. Last season we finished 17th. This season we are 16th. What are we thanking him for, exactly? For me the 7-0 win and run up to that was up there with my favourite times watching the Gas, the seven times in a row 2-1 wins 89/90 season, Trolls and Lawrence run where we got in play offs on the last day etc , for 4 months we were unplayable. All the other times in my opinion generally we haven’t played great or exciting football and it’s been somewhere between meh and dreadful. Thanks Joey for doing your best you’ve been an ok manager for us and your recruitment has been better than the overwhelming majority of managers we’ve had in my lifetime it’s a shame you couldn’t make it click as much as you clearly wanted but it was clear you always gave it 100% and wore your heart on your sleeve. I thank him for galvanising the club like DC did at a time when it was on its knees. Some will say and me that he created some of this, I still think a good manager keeps us up like Cogs did. But he put that right, I got to go on the pitch with my then 75 year Dad to celebrate the 7-0 (after the final whistle!) and it created a memory for the both of us that I will cherish for life………….Barton and the team did this. Thank you Joey Barton for this, that’s my real only thanks but it was significant to say the least. This is all a bit cringe, it’s not about me, let’s hope the players produce a fine wine to represent him, it’s his side and management team. And if he tweets after our win, I hope he does, it’s his side regardless of the views on it all. |
