Hope he’s going to take Cotterill out of the equation for us. Can’t believe he’s been mentioned - I’ll be taking a football sabbatical if we end up with him But you have a pop at people who didn't go because of Barton? Lmao. You couldn't make it up!  I’m not keen to hand over hard my earned money out of a sense of duty if there is zero entertainment although saying that I probably would for a while like I did with GC. A bit different to those who bit off their noses to spite their faces and missed one of the greatest season finales in our history just so they could prance around on their moral high horses. |

He signed off his Rbris post match interview with a very cryptic “well, I hope so!” , when interviewer said “speak to you soon” (probably misquoted but I wasn’t listening that closely).
He’s a good manager, if a little dull. For all his Sheted pedigree, anyone saying they wouldn’t have him here is mad. Well out of our range though.

I was genuinely concerned that he’d take them up tbh. Hopefully they’ll employ Ainsworth now😁 |

City are competitive, established Championship club who flirt with the top 6 without really challenging ( to many big boys ahead of them) and sometimes sail too close to the bottom without really being in danger as there always seem to be 3 clubs cast adrift at the bottom in the division. They have a n established business model, annually blooding very good youngsters and selling them on for big money. Think MR Lansdowne decided years ago that he was not going to throw endless money at some supporters dreams , just do enough to hold there own in the championship. To that end NP has carried out the instructions and kept the status quo, so seems a bit harsh to sack him .I find his interviews shockingly awful and i am one of the 'mad 'ones who would not have him here, each to their own.

Such a shame his post match interviews were hilarious The Most boring bloke in the world I nearly fell asleep behind the wheel driving home yesterday when he came on radio Bristol. I normally turn him off, but yesterday he seemed better, sort of realised his time was up and he could plan what to do with his pay off. |

Reckon the job at Trashton is incredibly unattractive - aim to win promotion to PL with little investment and up against any number of big and big spending clubs.
Anyone who takes it is on a hiding to nothing.
In contrast, imo our job is much more attractive - decent investment and more realistic chance of promotion sooner.
