Typically I go with family or friends who have zero interest in the “hooliganism” and get quite intimidated by it, I was stood only 7/8 rows from the front where all around me were rough blokes, 4 of which had GHS tattoos. I also genuinely believe there was more people than seats with everyonr around me occupying a seat per 2 people & the stairs were rammed.

Agree there are lots at away games who I would not even recognise as typical Rovers fans, I do wonder where they come from. Agree with the comments about standing, no problem standing when something exciting happens or when teams are coming out etc, this is the way it used to be, but it seems now there are people who intend to stand all the way through the game and have no consideration for the young or old people whos view they are blocking. Saw the firework incident which was shameful and was near the banger which definitely caused some panic for those close to it.

If you look at some photos there were spare seats lower down , it’s just the view wasn’t very good from there so looks like everyone decided to sit where they liked. That’s the way Gasheads like it I’m told. I think you should sit in the seat you bought but others don’t agree.

Think we should be clear there is zero equivalence between the tennis ball protest and throwing a firework at opposition fans. Fans organising and taking a stand against the mismanagement of their clubs is a positive imo.

Two stewards followed this guy with the orange coat down the stairs after the game and were telling him he was being detained. Seemed pretty drunk and antagonistic. They were shouting at the other stewards at the bottom who seemingly had let the guy in black who was holding the firework slip past them. Hopefully they caught up with him!

That's the guy we saw outside, sensible to choose such a distinctive coat.

I actually think it's out of order to turn up just before kickoff demanding your seat when it's a free for all. All adds to the drama on a dull evening in Reading! 🤣

Dude, my son was actually wearing your old shirt from the NA fundraising last night, so it was especially nice when he walked onto the pitch before the game!

I’ve just started taking my 4 year old lad with me along with my 11 year old daughter who has come to games for years. We live up north so mainly go to away games.
To think you stand amongst absolute idiots like this!
Name, shame and ban for life.

What infuriated me most last night were fans trying to protect the identity of the alleged fans spoiling our name, and criticising others who wanted them named on FB groups, it ain't grassing, it s doing the right thing. Reading fans could have been seriously injured.
We have a few idiots ruining it for the rest, a few banning orders will sort it out sharply.

Surely the T**T is the one who can't match the seat number with the one on their ticket. or is it the person in his seat, or the person in His seat ...and so on But if the first person didn't do it there would be no "and so on". Seats have numbers so you can choose where you want to sit.
