Lots going on tonight other than the football, the tennis ball rebellion, at least two flairs let off in the home section and to top it all the idiot amongst us who thought it was clever to throw a firework in amongst the home fans below, I am not usually one to make conversation out of these type issues but you really do have to ask yourself what goes through these peoples minds?
It goes without saying, that incident could have severe repercussions for the club!

I saw that happen. Was an absolutely idiotic thing to do it hit the lady below and could have caused her serious injury. The lad who threw it is in serious trouble.

Was just behind the who threw it. I must say we have our share of idiots. No interest in watching the match.. Just want to throw abuse at the rival fans and in doing so they were happy to stand in front of young children.. Genuine supporters were forced to move away from that area because of these unbearable lads. Should be ashamed of themselves.

I heard the Reading commentary saying it was our fans who lobbed the firework.. Didn't want to believe any gasheads would do a stupid thing like that.

The Police had a young lad by the exit in that corner of the stadium as we left at the end and as we walked back to the car park he went past in a police van.

Away day crowds are a lot different to home day crowds at the moment. Drinking culture, not there for the football really. Some lad around me was bragging how he drank 2 pints during half time... why? He could hardly stand up as it was.
Crowded stairways when there is no need for it, plenty of space in the stand.
Some sort of fire cracker thing went off right by us just as the tennis balls started going onto the pitch, let off by someone in our section and landed next to a family. So dangerous. As for the firework that landed on someones head in the home end, beggars belief.
My young boy is starting to enjoy coming to watch Rovers with me but I'm glad he wasn't there tonight and I don't think I will be taking him to an away game for a very long time. It really isn't a family atmosphere on away days, really sad.

I saw it just to the right of us. Complete idiot who thought it was funny to chuck a flare/firework down towards the Reading fans in the lower tier. Who bring these people up. There was an older man amongst the four of them 😠some of our fans are complete dicks. Also people standing and some people with elderly legs could not see! I despair!!

The steward completely ignored the flare/firework even when flames were falling in him, more interested on his phone!

Saw the firework thrown into the home end & I must say that was one of the most stupid & irresponsible things I have seen at football.
Unfortunately there was a second incident with fireworks. When the tennis balls came onto the pitch lots of people took the opportunity to have a comfort break. On the stairs just above the disabled section a Supporter knob end let off a banger. This was as everyone was walking down the stairs people ended up standing on it as it went off & someone got hurt (only minor). Being only about 2m from it my ears are still ringing now!

The kid outside looked like Ryan Woods!

Football banning order incoming Permanent ban at the very least. Give him a month in a Cat A prison - he won’t think he’s so tough and clever then.

No. My pal and I were stood very close and saw a guy whirling a flare around above his head, but I cannot honestly say I saw him throw it. HOWEVER - the stewards turned up and seemed to know very well who it was. Presumably caught it on CCTV and could identify him. As stated elsewhere, the police seemingly arrested him.

Let him be named and shamed. Hopefully he’ll lose his job (if he has one).

Not sure what you’d call it other than a firework, just that it didn’t explode (thankfully) Certainly wasn’t a coloured flare/smoke bomb like you’d normally see, was pretty big and both ends were going off like a sparkler only twice the size. Glad the lady below acted quickly and chucked it pitchside and out of harms way. Definitely the most mindless/reckless act I’ve seen at a match in a very long time. & now the clubs name is attached to it.

It was completely reckless to even ignite it whilst stood amongst his own fans, which shows how much consideration he has for his fellows. Sadly not uncommon nowadays.
