As topper would say, which keeper was the busiest today?

Agreed. It was an awful game and also a very professional gutsy performance. I Think sometimes people see a scrappy game and automatically decide that we were sh**e. Just as some see us have 68% posssession and think we’re playing great football. You’ve got to read between the lines. If we played like that every away game for the rest of the season and picked up plenty of 1-0s I’d take that all day long. So much better than constantly giving it away in our final third and losing. GC got us to the top 3 winning ugly, AM does similar and if we don't improve we'll finish in the bottom half! The Board now have a tough decision to make this week, stick with AM and hope he can keep the undefeated run going and performances will improve, or bring in a new manager and hope he doesn't rock the boat. Mangan has had the easiest run of fixtures the gas have had this season. That has to be taken into context when making a decision. There's no way these last 3 league performances get a result at derby away imo.

One sour note of the day, a mate of mine took a coin to the face, thrown from the other side of the segregation close to the end of the match. Thankfully the coppers nabbed the culprit and a statement was quickly taken as we left Brunton Park.
50p straight to the hooter, only a slight bit of claret & no lasting damage luckily. Hope the scumbag is handed a lengthy ban, always found Carlisle to be a welcoming club on each of my 4 visits. So a big shame someone as brain dead as this has attached themselves to it.

Just watched the highlights, glad Crama made that foul for the red otherwise that guy was 1v1 in the centre of the goal. In hindsight could have saved us lol

In hindsight could have saved us lol Probably shouldn’t have been caught out by the hopeful punt forward in the first place. Once he was caught wrong side you’re probably right and he then had to take one for the team. I think Taylor and Wilson should be first choice CB’s. Crama takes too many chances for my liking and usually has one big error per game - I remember v Charlton and v Wycombe he was very fortunate that his late mistakes weren’t capitalised on by the opposition and cost us points.

Had anyone noticed, the refs have got better and Mangs isn’t talking about them?

Agree with you, can’t remember the last time Taylor didn’t win a header at the back either. Add more goals to his game and he’s a hell of a player

Great 3 points, might not have have been been the best performance but don’t forget Carlisle didn’t have midweek game, whilst we had a trip to Reading & the long journey today. Decent position in the league considering we have played 9 matches away & only 7 at home, so now our home form has improved, there’s every chance we can close the gap on the playoff positions. Personally I be glad to see the return of Grant Ward, as our midfield seems more effective when he is in the side.

very poor performance against a struggling team poor defence ,poor strike force, we might have won today from an own goal but the future doesn't bode well and i say this after watching the reading game which in my view we were poor in that game i thought we had a strong squad going for promotion like they say you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool people all of the time rovers board take note!

Strangely, I was happier after that game than I was after todays. Bar the cup game we havent played well since

Have got to speak as I find. After witnessing the afternoon performance at the Royal Albert Hall of the Rememberance Service we caught the 18.00 from Paddington. 4 City supporters were sat in our reserved seats and I asked them politely to move which they did with only a small moment of hesitation. Perhaps it was the Poppy in our lapels who knows but move they did

Just watched the game back and that was a good performance! After reading some of the comments on here I didn't expect much but we played well. Bogarde, Woods and Evans closed down well, quick into the tackle, gave them no time or space, for the first time this season we looked solid in the middle. Wilson won everything another good performer. Only issue was Crama switched off a couple of times (like he has in every game he's played) lucky not to conceede a penalty, then ultimately letting his man get the wrong side of him leading to an early bath. We were a little wasteful, could of been 2 or 3, looked more comfortable with ten men, had more gears to go up if needed. In my opinion this is exactly the way we need to play away from home if we want to challenge.

Over the years how many times have top league 1 sides come to the Mem beaten us and on here afterwards the general consensus has been that they didn’t really look that special, they just had two big lumps at the back , worked hard , kept a clean sheet , good at the dark arts etc. Yesterday was a typical league.1 solid , hard working away performance. For those that believed Barton was going to get us promoted with his brand of football it was probably awful I get that , each to their own but I’m well happy , 3 points for the gas from a tough away trip happy days.
