I would like us to shoot more, preferably more accurately. Especially from wide positions. Look what happened yesterday. Sometimes a more direct approach can reap rewards even if it's a corner gained. I wonder if we can coach Hoole and or Flash to run and shoot as often they do the hard work of getting near box with the last ball left wanting.. Think more than those two should look to shoot. Apart from Evans, and the occasional "conversion" from Finley, who shoots from the midfield players? Counting Thomas and Collins as wide men. |

The bigger miss in the summer was not getting Alfie May May always said he wanted to move to London, he might have stayed in the area if we'd offered him a far better deal than Charlton but was that ever likely to happen? |

I think with JCH the ship may have sailed not necessarily because of the club getting cold feet and taking a different direction but with JCH himself. The draw may have been playing for Barton and he may not be interested playing for another manager

Unless a team is lucky with injuries its best to have 3 strikers on the books. Ideally one of them would be a younger player pushing for game time.The other 2 experienced. At the moment we are a striker down (in my opinion) . So we should look to sign a young prospect. The other question would be should we also replace either Martin or Marquis ? If the answer to that is yes ,you need to bring in the most successful goal scorer you can afford. Agree we need a younger striker. If we have up to £800k to spend someone like Ali Al-Hamadi AFC Wimbledon would surely be affordable with some change? Hell of a gamble though for on a one season wonder playing L2? Sooner find a younger Chris Martin who's regularly scored at L1 level. |

You have to sense the deals now dead from what the new owner said in his last interview. Although somebody is clearly going to sign him in L1 and I doubt many teams can afford him. What did he say in his last interview? Something along the lines of it'll be down to how the new manager wants to spend his budget. He also said there were 1 or 2 hitches with the original deal whatever that meant. |

I would look to extend CM's contract until the end on the season with a longer-term view of him being involved in coaching/management.

Still not 100% the deal wasn’t deliberately mucked up, all this not asking for an extension, asking for it, a minute was it too late?? It showed intent without actually spending any money. JCH is definitely off in January but not to us, that ship has sailed. It’s curious how he continues to be on the bench a lot though? Not curious at all. Their owner and manager have said they want to play with a speedy centreforward( Jade Jones) and JCH does not fit that way of playing. They have done this for the last four or five games with great success, with JCH warming the bench. They also have said in many occasions JCH is off in January. |

JCH is 6 years younger than Chris Martin , in footballing terms that is a big difference. I would be happy with both of them . As long as the owners keep some money back for when we get in the championship , I will be happy with signing JCH. |

JCH is 6 years younger than Chris Martin , in footballing terms that is a big difference. I would be happy with both of them . We can't complain about being 17th or whatever, sack the manager but then say don't want to spend money on a player that would make us seriously competitive. I am not worried that JCH isn't playing for Posh right now, he didn't play over the summer either before we messed up trying to sign him. Get him, Martin and JCH upfront together would be class imo. |
