Greens run Bristol now …. Expect all sorts of additions in the stand . Owl boxes - solar panels - seats made from cardboard etc.. We should be adding Solar Panels to all roof top areas. Will save the club a fortune. As a group of fans, we are becoming more 'green'. Remember the rainbow at Peterborough home game, lovely. Owl spotting at half time would be a right hoot. You previously suggested the South Stand was a disaster waiting to happen and would collapse with a bit of bad weather and now you want loads of solar panels piled on top - is it now a safe structure then? |

We are at the point where people are more annoyed about bozos being called Wally and Tommy Gulag. What a club, what an ethos. Thing is Chewie, at one point you were hanging out the back of Wael and were best buddies. The level of vitriol across all social media platforms is not healthy and wonder wether there is something more than their supposed inadequacies. Here’s a thought why not speak to both directly and voice your concerns rather than hide behind a locked account on X and on here. It's quite easy to "see the light" regarding things. In Wael, like I said we had an owner who is all sh** and no fart. In 2016 he said “A new stadium has to be built. We cannot be sustainable if we stay at the Memorial,”, since then we have built a pre-fabricated semi-permanent (by rights semi-temporary then) stand and had a failed Stadium in UWE and two failed sites in the "Close by" site and the Fruit Market. The latter the club released a Promotional Video in a sort of Whaddon Road choose your seats parody. With regards to the UWE development in 2019 WAQ stated UWE "decided they wanted a different use for their land", five years later the land is still not being used, has not had any plans put forward for it despite the University proceeding with numerous developments across the campus. Fair play the scaled back Quarters was opened in October 2020 over two years late with Category 2 Academy Status not achieved in the al-Qadi tenure. So, in conclusion, in 7 years we have a new stand at a ground it isn't sustainable to develop similar to what National League behemoths Eastleigh have and a training ground similar to AEK Boco. As for Mr Gorringe I point to; the Mint Bet sponsorship, the Football Index sponsorship, the 30.55% rise in Season Tickets, the Fruit Market statement and video, not getting planning permission for TWO stands, releasing a shirt to raise awareness of disabilities two days after banning disabled Barnsley fans, the "victimless crime" statement, deleting the any club employees who are convicted of such offences "will be dismissed immediately" before signing Jevani Brown, overseeing the REDUCTION in the capacity of The Mem, Ticketgate vs Norwich, £15 season cards, "normal fans" and the deleted tweet that followed. Shall I go on? |

One's who haven't were significantly developed in the 90's (Millwall, Forest and Carlisle being examples). Be it Dunford's, Craig's, Higgs', al-Qadi's or AlSaeed's boards they've all failed. Al-Qadi achieved as much as Higgs, he was just a bit richer. I must have missed the day when Higgs acquired a training ground. Like I said, he was just a bit richer. |

Similar to the set up at Western League club AEK Boco. This isn't about comparing different types of sh**, this is about wanting and demanding more from custodians. We are miles behind the majority of football league in crucial areas and folk are honestly more upset about daft nicknames. It's both hilarious and hugely depressing. We get the club and facilities we deserve. |

So clubs in League 2 and a not in League 1 are run worse or similar to us. Since Wael came in, we have spent 1 season in League 2. The rest of the time we have been in League 1. Compare that with the same period before he came in. So as I said, we could do better, but we could do a not worse and we are probably doing as we should be! You can see the long term plans. Improve the stadium, training facilities, bring in young players to develop. Higgs was so desperate to sign a bad deal to try and get a stadium, everything else was neglected. Even simple things like a better club shop, newer facilities in the toilets, better bar areas etc are taken for granted. None of that was even looked at under Higgs. To say they were similar is rubbish, just because Higgs signed a bad deal. Wael could have agreed to those terms. But you would soon be moaning about that, if we were losing money😂 |
