On pure footballing reasons I hope this is off. Though I will of course feel for those who have travel and accommodation up that way.
if we’ve not had coaching staff since Tuesday and the manager still hasn’t been announced then we’ll be in no position to do our best and it gives MT a chance to get in and at least share a few of his ideas with the squad than being chucked into a mad journey up having barely been announced.

Assuming the game is on, it’s terrible timing for an appointment really. If the backroom staff have gone how’s he going to know who to play, what system to play and work on what Crewe do?

We will be extremely fortunate if this game is called off, I would imagine that Crewe will be doing everything they can to get the game on knowing what absolute turmoil we are currently in. UTG!
