Taylor has a massive job on his hands.
The squad doesn’t look fit at all, add in the lack of effort in second half and I can see a fair few leaving the door next month IF things don’t improve a lot

The goalkeeper Cox has to go back I’m afraid. I want Jed Ward in goal Saturday. At least he’s our up and coming goalkeeper and I’m not having that cox is any better than Jed. His distribution is one of the worst I’ve seen of a Bristol rovers goalkeeper ever.

Wow, how terrible was that second half? First half we were half decent getting on the front foot with pace and not afraid to shoot. Second half disjointed, no leadership and looked like eleven random players who'd never met before. The whole lot were useless and I pity Matt Taylor and the task ahead. It seems basically keep Wilson wrapped in cotton wool during the week and hope he doesn't pick up an injury or get suspended when he plays? |

We should gave been two or three up at half time.
We were poor in the second half.
Glad this was not a league fixture.
ALAN YOUNG was the star.
Penalty for Rovers? Wrong call.
Red card for Gibbons? Wrong call.

That was a team where the influencers are sulking that their mate Mangan is gone …
We have a potential worrying undercurrent I fear …
Saturday is now massive and if they play like that they will get booed off and we will know truly about their lack of professional pride in our shirt!

Thought Gibbons did well first half, and regardless of the sending off, the game was already over, silly tackle and in most cases would be a red. We have a lot of problems and Mr Taylor has to find the answer to this mess. Good luck Matty - your going to need it 🙄

Gibbons is woeful and will be had when he is gone. Spot on, if that had happened at the Mem and an opposition player took somebody down like that, we would all be screaming for a red card. |

It was a deliberate and cynical trip which should be a yellow. Not denying a clear goal scoring opportunity, not reckless, dangerous or serious foul play which could have caused serious injury - just a trip. I guess it’s a sign of the times that when you get a yellow for farting or looking at someone wrong a “proper” old fashioned foul gets everyone screaming for a red card. Also, how the feck could the ref not see it was a penalty when the keeper totally mistimed a challenge and wiped out Vale - he was perfectly placed to see it. He should be forced to explain why he never gave that. Why are keepers allowed to get away with wiping out strikers? (btw not making excuses. It was an appalling second half display and Crawley fully deserved their win after weathering our first half pressure). |

And that’s why Gibbons should be nowhere near this team - absolute prat. No leadership on the pitch from Finley - totally clueless performance second half. Been saying both haven't been good enough for months. Finley is a 1 in 6 good game player now just like Upson. Did well at Derby, his next good game will be sometime around Cambridge. |
