It doesn't matter how good a squad is, if you've got little effort or desire from the players, then you are in free fall. We will struggle to get another point this year. We got 10! To be fair, there has been plenty of effort and desire from the players, otherwise your point was spot on. I'd go even further and say the desire and togetherness has gone up a level. I really didn't expect it, but so happy the players have really bought into MT. In fact I think that is the main reason we've won these games. Long may it continue! |

MT mentioned the UEFA pro licence yesterday and how important it was in inspiring leadership into players.
Anyone who watched his Exeter sides would be able to tell you that each one of those players bought into his philosophy and deployed his instructions and tactics to the letter.
I've also noticed he's the polar opposite of JB waffle speak and how he would use 100 words when a simple 9 or 10 does Taylor quite nicely without being short or clipped.
BS baffles brains as they say.
