A lot of people seem to be quite upset about going out of a cup nobody cares about 😂👍 Think you might be missing the point me ‘ol mucker 😬 He is right Yatton. This is awful. Personally couldn't give a hoot about this competition but from reports on the game we are in for a real struggle in the balance of this season. |

To be honest I can think of alot more players who was a waste of space compared to Brown tonight. Yeh tonight was one of his better games - promising sign IMO. We need to offload the dross loans though. Not even our players FFS. Ship out Crama and Bogarde tomorrow please! What are the rules on players going back?? Can clubs terminate loans?? Suppose if the club tells the parent club that the new manager is not going to play them alot it would be in their interest to call them back. Silly red card for Gibbons but like Brown I thought he had a decent game and appeared to be one who seemed to be giving his all and looked solid. Missed LT when he went off, I thought Vale was pretty average tonight tbh, a few moments but more wasteful. |

Really disappointing performance. No new manager bounce. Hopefully Taylor can fix that for Saturday. Worryingly, the players didn’t seem bothered.

I don’t want to join the pile on , but it’s really disappointing how inconsistent this team is. Today just amplified that.

It’s worrying how little some of our players even looked interested. I said when they were all coming out begging for Mangan that we could have a Dave Penney on our hands. Now it’s too early to say that we have but I’m still concerned about it. |

Very balanced from MT - I don’t think he will take any nonsense from the Barton Fan Club in the dressing room.
He doesn’t rant or rage but I detect a tough steely determination in him and as he said … “tonight I learnt a lot about the players”.
Some will rightly be under the microscope now…
After that second half nonsense I feel slightly happier knowing that the new gaffer won’t put up with this level of performance very long.

Taylor has a massive job on his hands. The squad doesn’t look fit at all, add in the lack of effort in second half and I can see a fair few leaving the door next month IF things don’t improve a lot They would get a lot of day’s off under Barton not sure if that’s got anything to do with it but I agree they look really unfit 🤷♂️ |

BLESSING IN DISGUISE
Beating a weakened crawley 4-0 could have blindsided players fans and manager alike.
At least now he’s been able to see into the whites of the eyes of a few and already can see our soft underbelly. So in a way I’m not unhappy about this as he can see first hand the issues we have which doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that unfortunately it comes down to our inability in both penalty boxes.
