What's the betting if JB had been on the sidelines the ref would have disallowed the goal? God knows why a L2 side are trying to play out from the back.

One of the best halves I've seen from us this season. Pace and attacking intent all over the pitch makes a nice change to lots of balls in the midfield not going anywhere.
Brown and Thomas will get plenty of plaudits but I want to shout out Gibbons who I think is having one of his best games in a Rovers shirt.

As has been said, Collins yet again continues to make the wrong decisions time and time again
Very pleasing to see us getting up the pitch with a bit of pace instead of tippy tappy at the back and goid to see us shooting at most opportunities albeit with the usual recent lack of success.

Collins has had a dreadful 2023 but we know what he's capable of. Challenge for MT is to get the best out of him - Collins 2022 version

Strange first half …
Cox distribution was not good
All defence relatively sound.
Finley busy / Evans putting in a shift
Vale very wasteful / LT biggest threat by far
JB started well and fell away after 20 minutes
Collins is bouncing around like Tigger and has the goal threat of Andy Pandy. - not sure what replacement options we have as Marquis is awful.
18 shots in the first half - 8 on target but most had no pace behind them.

Even though Crawley are woeful and not at full strength 19 shots at goal and 10 on target is a decent return whoever you play.

Feeks like a typical Rovers game from this season really.
Cox passing it straight to them.
Thomas been our best player.
Brown lazy it’s like having ten men when we haven’t got the ball.
Collins weak and missing sitters.
Evans playing well.
I’d rather see Evans played as the number 10 and have bogard or Ward further back alongside Finley.
He’s got so much more energy and creativity than Brown.
Hope brown proves me wrong and every player should start with a clean slate under MT but he’s been a massive disappointment for me this season.

Not sure where you get the Cox distribution poor from has played some great balls to feet or chest to break the first line. |

[br Watching them warm up before the game you’d think we could hit decent powerful and accurate shots but when it comes to the match we normally scuff them in to the ground or hit them out of the ground . |
