Our kit looked great. Itās a shame so many players today didnāt deserve to wear it.

Awful. From possession football to a manager happy with a point against Cheltenham. In the space off a few weeks we have gone to looking over our shoulders as to what is below us. Bit of context, happy with a point against Cheltenham having been 1 down at half time and one of the worst overall performances in years. The context is surely going from being a win or two from making the top 6 to wondering if we've got what it takes to avoid being dragged into a relegation fight with today's opponents? I sense when we drew Crewe in the cup we thought we could beat them, at least after a replay, now I'm thinking we could easily get hammered on Tuesday.

Spot on, the same idiots who sing the IRA song, unemployable in a job with responsibility, brain dead! The bloke has inherited a terrible squad, there is no strikers in the squad who can run with pace, we were all hoodwinked, well some of you were. *Edit - Letās not forget Topper said this is the best squad since Holloway, has anyone see Topper lately? My god what the feck is wrong with you man? Let it go FFS! Joey Barton is certainly living rent free in your head! Strange how people can become obsessed with something.

We shouldn't have been "wondering" if we'd be top 6. We never were and you have to be utterly mad to think we could have been. If that's what you were thinking, you were wrong to do so - so using it as some kind of evidence is nonsense. We won't go down. We will finish around midtable which is exactly where we would have finished regardless. Squad is dross and anyone who thinks this squad is ANYWHERE NEAR good enough to finish in the mix is delusional.

In my eyes itās a case of damned if you picked one damned if you pick the other. Both have been at fault for goals in previous games. So what can you do? Not pick an out of from RB to play at LB seems the obvious answer? I'm not sure Grant has let us down when he's started at LB? Is Grant a LB? He has been played all over the shop and IMO scarcely played well. Gibbons has covered plenty at LB but is Jekyll and Hyde often within a single match. Both need replacing. Neither a good choice anywhere even at LB.

I think heās pretty good at LB and probably player his best football there. Gibbons on the other hand looks good going forward but a liability at the back sometimes. Can be erratic.

Message to any players reading this forum. If you don't want to play for The Gas you can p*ss off in January According to Roadman, Al-Saeedās son reads the forum - so if thatās the case, I want you to tell your dad that this is on you lot - youāre the ones that f*cked up the JCH deal, sold Loft and left us toothless up front. Itās on you.

I know itās a cliche but really, what do they do in training all week? The number of misplaced passes ie direct to the opposition, the lack of any idea at throw ins, the powder puff challenges that at best only slow down the opposition, the half hearted clearances that just gives the ball straight back etc etc. Do we play the cones in training which would explain a lot!

Lots of haters on this thread who just need to accept who the manager is, let him get on with it and support the lads. UTG

Taylor needs 2 transfer windows to mold this team his own and 1 starts next month thank god but let's not slate the man before he's had a chance please š yes he comes across a little head teacher like and slightly uninspiring to listen to but so does most managers I've seen being interviewed. I think he will bridge the gap for us but he needs a few of his own type players in in key positions to bring the best out of the ones who are worth keeping š

its all ifs but i think if we had acquired jch we would have been in a better place now i am a barton supporter but i think he did not get the ammount of control of the club as he had before the new owners took over! never being one to go back there seems to be a shift with the players attitude with the higher archy also i have noticed when we are harried on the ball we have no answer given space to play from the back as an example charlton we thrived i know we only won with a last minute goal but we performed better. if you change the way of play that has been the norm, halfway through the season it means it will take time for the team to buy into this but this team is by no means playing to its potential but also remember this is rovers and we are our own worst enemy at times i know because ive been a supporter since 1967 and still bare the scars but utg forever!

Make available the funds to reshape the squad?
