Honestly, why do you keep calling him that? It's a bit pathetic. Because he’s a hater. Come on, stay classy. Enjoy the result without having to rub anyone's noses in it. We're all Gasheads and we all want the club to succeed.

Imo, the players are not the problem, BRFC have an excellent squad, the problem is one the new owner, with no real explanation, sacked Joey; who brought all the best players to the club, and secondly bumbling Taylor who on arrival instantly reverted to hoofing the ball forward and chasing after it, which might have brought Team Bath and Div 2 teams some success, but no progressive sides play that way today, the current squad are set up to play through the phases and press. No wonder the players do not want to play for Tisdale 2. And yes BRFC are favourites to lose the next four games, lets hope not. I agree with the first part re; Joe and new owner - too early obvs to judge Taylor, they played for him tonight 👍💙utg

It doesn't add up to me. Things were hardly that bad this season and I said at the time we weren't far off a good side and needed more work on the training ground and a decent centre forward. If we had a finisher we would arguably have beaten Pompey, Barnsley, Lincoln and Oxford. The manager identified that issue, hence wanting to sign JCH. Sacked when we were 7 points off the playoffs after 14 games, this after the board sanctioned 12 signings in the summer, including a £300k centre half and then allowing the manager to add Chris Martin just a month before his his sacking. Hmmm. Of course he wasn't sacked because of results. I think we all know that. He mouthed off one too many times for the board to be comfortable with him at the helm. I personally think that the decision to part with JB will bite us on the backside big time. I don't think they are mutually exclusive. The day after Crawley at home: New Owners: Joe, the results aren't good enough. What are your plans to improve? JB: If you c*nts hadn't f*cked up the signing of JCH then we wouldn't be in this position. I should be asking you c*nts what you are going to do for me to keep me here. I'm the the one here that knows football. You are clueless tw*ts. New Owners: Your fired

I do worry at times about where the new owners are leading us, why they bought us, what the plan for us is, and what shocks lie ahead as their master plan is revealed. Of course a large part of this feeling is based on what I read on here, so I probably shouldn't get too concerned. It's a fine line though between keeping your cards close to your chest and scaring people. If they came in and said "our ambitions is to bring championship football to Rovers and we are going to do that by increasing the capacity and increasing the average spend per customer per game from £30 to £50". We need to do that for three years before we can make the investment leap from League 1 wages to Championship wages. Oh and we also want to earn 10% net profit for return on capital invested in the club. What would the fans reaction be? However, if they make changes (we are already at £5.50 a pint and £4.50 a pasty and £26 a ticket) incrementally, we will moan a little but just get on with paying it and reluctantly accept it. Football is a funny business. When I go to Tesco, I don't feel that I am invested in them. I don't really care where I shop. I certainly don't have the bants with my Asda shopping colleague. What I do know is that it must be so difficult to run a football club. Every decision gets micro analysed by customers (yes, we are customers) there will never be a decision that 100% agree on. If you haven't experienced lower league football in the UK previously and your view of football is what you see on TV Week in and out before taking one the club, you are going to be shell shocked for a good while as the reality sinks in.

Can't see us getting anything from any of those games. I'm already expecting us to be easily beaten tonight, think this cup game is as tough as the league games that follows. Will need a very good performance tonight! You must be delighted with result tonight. Absolutely! Didn't see that coming for sure. First game I've not watched this season, maybe I should stay away more often!

One thing will be clear to MT. We need our best 3 defenders fit and playing or we struggle. Taylor; Wilson and Hunt in the side make a huge difference. The next 4 league games, if we are without one or both of Hunt and Wilson, are going to be incredibly hard. Hopefully Hoole not far off and Gibbons can return to form at RB but our CB situation should never have been allowed to be 3 centre backs in a huge squad (and I have said this since August).Bet Taylor can’t wait for the window to rectify that one.

Don’t mind him getting needed experience but we are still at least one CB short. Back 3 means the likes of Friend and Grant maybe able to be covers for LCB, but we need cover for Wilson/taylor too. Let’s see what he does!

Sad part is that, reading this forum, I genuinely do not believe this statement is true. Some would rather see us fail to continue banging their high and mighty drums.

Do you honestly believe he was sacked on results alone -- Because I don't. Hmmm. Perhaps the owners got wind of that nasty pod caste video interview that was recorded before Barton was sacked or perhaps the owners were concerned that Barton and not them was pulling all the strings at the club. The silence of Barton suggests perhaps they had good grounds. I knew a former Director at Exeter who told me the full story about Francis sacking and it was not just about poor results... it's an amusing story in retrospect which I wish I could repeat. Clubs and Managers tend to keep such issues quiet and often silence is part of the severance package. Certainly, Barton's behaviour was getting more erratic and Wael who had accepted such things was no longer the main shareholder. Taylor is more measured and stable which I like and I hope it works out for him and the club but as you say, a scouting and recruitment personnel are desperately needed.

We can recall Connolly in January Thanks. What about Jones? Could be a good LWB option. Would still want another CB and LB in. Think we may need to move on one or two of our attacking midfielders. Would take money for Brown if offered!

I’m full up on humble pie now! Keep it going boys. 3 out of 4 wins wasn't a bad return 😂. This is why I stopped trying to predict results too far ahead! So many times I thought we should win most of the next four and then we struggled and vice versa. 4 tough games on paper, 3 of them away and one at home to a side that were undefeated away!

Football can be a funny game. Just seen that Newcastle have lost 6 from 7. We are a very unpredictable side. 2 great results recently but we are tough to call.

We are a very unpredictable side. 2 great results recently but we are tough to call. That is very true, but it's still no excuse for calling MT 'bumbling' and Tisdale2. Current results say otherwise. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone at Bolton or the Mem on Tuesday supporting that view.

MT manager of the week.
Vale & Thomas make the team of the week.
This Friday night’s match is no different to a Saturday/Tuesday turnaround, Charlton no wins on the road in their last 4 (3 defeats) huge chance for another 3 points.
