MT manager of the week. Vale & Thomas make the team of the week. This Friday night’s match is no different to a Saturday/Tuesday turnaround, Charlton no wins on the road in their last 4 (3 defeats) huge chance for another 3 points. So knowing Rovers we will lose 😂. Weren't Portsmouth unbeaten away, before yesterday? |

If we can pick up 4-6 points against Charlton and Wycscum it will take us nicely into the cup game where we can really go for it with confidence.
By then the window will be open and we will see where the club sees this seasons potential! Couple of players in, we have reason to be optimistic about the future.

Imo, the players are not the problem, BRFC have an excellent squad, the problem is one the new owner, with no real explanation, sacked Joey; who brought all the best players to the club, and secondly bumbling Taylor who on arrival instantly reverted to hoofing the ball forward and chasing after it, which might have brought Team Bath and Div 2 teams some success, but no progressive sides play that way today, the current squad are set up to play through the phases and press. No wonder the players do not want to play for Tisdale 2. And yes BRFC are favourites to lose the next four games, lets hope not. Aged well |

Come on, stay classy. Enjoy the result without having to rub anyone's noses in it. We're all Gasheads and we all want the club to succeed. Sad part is that, reading this forum, I genuinely do not believe this statement is true. Some would rather see us fail to continue banging their high and mighty drums. I really don’t think anyone wants us to fail but some are still very upset that their pseudo psychologist manager, is gone. Hearing about infighting with our lot at Blackpool seems to back that up. |

I can see us picking up plenty of points in the next few games. It's a strange one because we've played better and lost earlier in the season, but now we've got a real togetherness on the pitch, and fight and determination that is winning us the points. Wycombe in free fall, Oxford having a poor run, Blackpool really poor away from home, Barnsley a very tricky one!

Next 5 league games in January to start 2024 with Rovers sat in 9th place . Will we won't we get to the playoff spot in 6th by the end of the season? methinks January will be a key deciding month to achieve success! Some very winnable games and 6 pointers to ease into the frame.
Wycombe away 19th 3 points!
The following assumes all games are the "next" game!
Barnsley away 7th place. Same games played 6 pointer, win and we close the gap to 5 points. Draw?
Blackpool home 8th position. 2 games in hand over them. 6 pointer. 3 points should see us in 8th place.
Exeter home 20th place. 3 points
Oxford home 6th place. 1 game in hand is Exeter. Beat Exeter and win this 6 pointer would result in Rovers moving to to 7th place and within 3 point of 6th placed Oxford.
